I stopped at the Buick Dealer after looking at another brand car from a different dealer. I had spent a lot of time at the previous dealer and felt that I had made my decision. However I wanted to at le brand car from a different dealer. I had spent a lot of time at the previous dealer and felt that I had made my decision. However I wanted to at least stop at Buick to confirm I was making the right decision. I met Tony as I walked in and after a short exchange of information he had a Buick LaCrosse pulled in front. The LaCrosse provided me with a "Wow" and it had everything I was looking for and more. I asked Tony how he knew exactly what I wanted so quickly. I took the car for a drive and liked it even more. Tony did a great job of presenting the information necessary to make a decision without being pushy and after driving it home to show my wife I owned a 2012 Buick LaCrosse. I have not felt one bit of concern that I made the right decision and would recommend Tony and the Bill Kay Dealership for anyone looking for a new vehicle. More
My wife and I were in the market for a pre-driven certified SUV large enough to accommodate our growing family. I contacted Tony Volturo and explained our situation, budget, and features needed. With certified SUV large enough to accommodate our growing family. I contacted Tony Volturo and explained our situation, budget, and features needed. Within one week Tony located a 2012 certified GMC Acadia SLT AWD with the EXACT equipment and color we wanted! Tony also gave us $1000 more for our trade in than any other dealer was offering! We got the SUV we wanted and came in under our budget! He also worked to secure a new car special financing rate for us. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Tony and we will never go anywhere else. He sincerely takes all of the brain damage out of buying a car and makes it a great experience. Sincerely, Jim & Jamie Chicago, Illinois More
My husband and I shopped several dealerships online and in person looking for a new GMC Acadia within the Chicago area. We went to Bill Kay Buick after receiving an internet quote and they had one in stock in person looking for a new GMC Acadia within the Chicago area. We went to Bill Kay Buick after receiving an internet quote and they had one in stock that we liked. We were welcomed by the salesman Bill who was very knowledgeable, professional and treated us great. They did not play any games with the price and even found a way to save us a few more dollars. Bill's manager Sean made sure the whole process was seamless and to see if we needed anything at all while we were there. They are a great group of guys who know how customers want to be treated. Thank you again! More
I am truly disappointed with Bill Kay GMC! I regret buying my vehicle from them. My relative and I went to Bill Kay after visiting a few other dealerships. I test drove the Terrain and liked it better buying my vehicle from them. My relative and I went to Bill Kay after visiting a few other dealerships. I test drove the Terrain and liked it better than the vehicles from the other companies. We started negotiating on the price and the sales manager WROTE the final out-the-door price. BEFORE the negotiation process we were told that they were offering 0% financing but DURING the the negotiation process we were told that 0% was no longer available but they were offering 1.9% financing. We were a bit upset but decided to proceed. The sales manager even wrote 1.9% on a piece of paper and showed us what our monthly bill will be. We were not in agreement with the out the door price. So we told the manager that we need to think about it and will get back to him in an hour. We called the dealership after an hour to find out if they would come down on the final price. We were told NO and the offer they wrote on paper stands. So, we told the sales manager to prep the car because we decided to buy it. During the signing process, we noticed that the price of the vehicle was over $1500 more than what was written on paper. We asked the sales manager regarding the increase. He had no legitimate answer other than he messed up and told us we had to pay the new price which was written in the contract. We were extremely furious. My relatives(dad &uncle) wanted to walk out but I liked the vehicle. After much consideration, decided to move forward with the purchase. During the financing process, the finance lady told us that we have extremely good credit score and we were going to get the best finance rates. She checked for the rates and it was 2.9% which was more than what we were told and more than what was written on paper during the negotiations. The rate was the the lowest Bill Kay had and it was not due to my credit score. We were again upset and felt cheated and lied to. Again, the sales manager had no answer. Bill Kay was cheating me and lieing to us but I went ahead with the deal, which was against my relatives choice. I regret making that decision. I had ordered all weather floor mats on that day also. It's been OVER A MONTH and I haven't heard back from Bill Kay regarding the order. I had called the sales agent 3 weeks back and was told that the mats were ordered and will be in the dealership in 3 to 4 days. Over 3weeks has passed and haven't heard anything. Today (2/17/12) I called Bill Kay due to a recall notice that was sent to my e-mail from Bill Kay and OnStar. I spoke with the service manager. He at first couldn't find my file. After holding for 15mins he found my file and said he was going to the parts dept. To find out if they have the recall parts in. I was told that he would call me back in 10mins. 5hours passed and I did not hear from him. I called GMC service center directly to findout what the recall was about. The rep from GMC customer service center contacted Bill Kay and was told that Bill Kay cannot locate my file. 10 minutes after speaking with the rep, I was contacted by the service manager from Bill Kay and was told that he couldn't locate my file. I expressed my dissatisfaction regarding Bill Kay's customer service and also talked to him regarding the All Weather floor mats I ordered over a month back. He told me that I should get the GM involved in this situation and asked me to call the dealership tomorrow becsuse the GM was not in today. This has been my experience with Bill Kay!! I regret the day I walked into their dealership!!! I will never do business with them. I have also decided to voice my experience with Bill Kay to as many people I can through Facebook, Twitter, blogs and what ever median I can use. I and my family will never buy another GMC vehicle for as long as we shall live!!! There is a saying that "Experience is the Best Teacher". I have experienced first Hand what it is like to be a GMC owner and will NEVER make this Mistake AGAIN!!! More
I would like to share my disgust that I have with Bill Kay Buick GMC. A couple weeks ago I contacted Bill Kay to see if they could help in a difficult situation we have into getting a car. I explained my Kay Buick GMC. A couple weeks ago I contacted Bill Kay to see if they could help in a difficult situation we have into getting a car. I explained my very situation in great detail right here on this very contact page. I was contacted by a Kevin who asked me to call him back. I never got a chance between work, family, etc. I was then contatced by the "sales manager" Tim that he would (email & voicemail) go over my file with Kevin and see if they could help. I didn't here anything for a day or so. I then emailed Tim and asked if they could help. I received a rude voicemail the next day from Kevin acting as if he called me multiple times attempting to help us and to just come in to work out a deal. I then called Kevin and left him a voicemail to ask if a deal could really be done as we have been jerked around by a ton of dealerships claiming to be able to help in our difficult situation. Kevin called me back a half an hour later with almost no knowledge of my story or my already explained difficulties. He asks how much we have to put down when I already told them $500, but that is no longer good enough "because a couple months back it changed to $ 1000." Why does the sign say in the window of the actual dealership $500 down Everybody drives? Kevin then explains he has to talk with Tim to see if a deal could get done and would get back to me in a few minutes. This was on Friday evening and I have yet to here back from Kevin and it is now Sunday morning. I understand our particular situation is difficult to get a deal done on any car purchase, but don't yank my chain. If you can't do it just be upfront I would have really understood. Instead Bill Kay wasted my time and effort, got our hopes up and wasn't able to come through. On top of all that your employees were rude, cocky and disrespectful. I think the real Bill Kay would be genuinely disappointed in the service you provided. If I ran my business on lies and misleading customers we wouldn't have be in business for 96 years and running. terrible! I went to Bill Kay to have a recall fixed on my car. While it was there they chose to wash it in 100 degree weather with cold water. This cause a 12 inch long crack in my winsheild that they refuse car. While it was there they chose to wash it in 100 degree weather with cold water. This cause a 12 inch long crack in my winsheild that they refuse to fix! They said if they fixed it, it would cost me $200! When I finally got my car home, it wouldn't turn off! I called the dealership to tell them what was going on and they said that it wasn't their problem! I am disgusted with their service and their treatment of my car. I would have been better off not having it fixed at all. I wish that I could give Bill Kay Buick less that a one star rating. More
My wife and I were very interested in the new Pacifica from Chrysler. We were shopping via the internet and were put in touch with Gus the internet sales rep. I had a Cavalier and a Camry in trade. The Ca from Chrysler. We were shopping via the internet and were put in touch with Gus the internet sales rep. I had a Cavalier and a Camry in trade. The Camry was not running, it needs a new water pump and timing belt. Gus told me that he could not gaurentee any price for the Camry without first seeing it. If the problem was indeed a water pump he would offer us $4000. I called Gus back and told him that I would be willing to have the car towed out if he would agree to the price of $30500 on an in stock Pacifica. I also told him that I was concerned I wouldn't have enough in trade to meet the 10% down required for the 0% 60 month financing. I inquired how much more cash I would need to complete the deal. He told me that we can work that out in person and to have the car towed in. He then agreed to the $30500 price for the Pacifica and $5525 in trade if the Camry needed no other work then a water pump. I proceeded to pay $80 to a local tow shop and had the Camry towed out. My wife and I then proceeded to the dealer. Once there we were informed that this price was with the factory $3000 cash back. I refered back to our conversation and how I specifically said I wanted 0% and this was the price given. Gus claimed that he said no such thing. Gus lied to our face and his manager proceeded to tell us how they couldn't possibly offer that price. I again spoke of our phone conversation and Gus apparently had amnesia and could only manage to smirk at us as his manager told us that we should have had the quote emailed to us for proof. The bottom line is DON'T TRUST THIS DEALER! In the future I will make sure I have everything in writing before trusting a phone price. We are still going to buy a Pacifica, just not from this dealer. Went in to test drive a new Pontiac under GM 24 hour test drive, and was treated to the rudest sales manager I have ever met. Told him why I was there, and he started in with, well you know we don't have tha drive, and was treated to the rudest sales manager I have ever met. Told him why I was there, and he started in with, well you know we don't have that many cars to use under program, what if you smash car, don't drive fast, don't, don't don't, just about everything. I got upset and, and got into an argument with him regarding his sales technique, and was about to speak to the owner of the franchise, when he finally allowd me to take a car to test drive. I drove it, liked the car, and bought it at another dealership. More
