Bill Jacobs Volkswagen is a very nice dealer to do business with. They did not use the high pressure tactics of other dealers. I had done a lot of research and knew they had the best prices in the area. It was nice to get the best price without playing all the games. My sales associate Donie Justiss was very friendly and helpful. He was also knowledgeable about the vehicle I was purchasing. I was given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle from top to bottom. When I did make the decision to buy it, they cleaned it up spotlessly. Their financing guy, John LaRock, took the time to find me the best interest rate around. I had already shopped around for the best rate, but he even beat that. He also went through and explained all of my warranty options with no pressure to buy anything. He just let me buy what I was comfortable with. This is truly an exceptional dealership. More

He immediatly helped setting up the car, and showed me all capabilities of it. After the fact, i had a few questions, and he was able to walk me through it over the phone. I am now a loyal member of the Bill Jacobs family, and would recommend to all i encounter as well. Thanks guys, keep up the great work, Tom Miller More
I was in the market for a used vehicle for my family of I was in the market for a used vehicle for my family of 4. We were looking at SUV's and various crossover vehicles to fill our needs.I searched the I was in the market for a used vehicle for my family of 4. We were looking at SUV's and various crossover vehicles to fill our needs.I searched the internet using car finder sites like Auto Trader (My favorite) and I See Cars. I also checked local listings and dealer inventories. After narrowing our search we decided on a Dodge Journey SXT AWD. I Noticed that on average car deals were approximately $1500 cheaper 100 miles north in the Chicago area and its Suburbs. I then talked to local dealers and sales persons about my findings. They all gave me horror stories of buying a car from dealers up North. They also told me that the cars they were selling were inferior to local trades, and many dealers would advertise a great deal on a few cars to get you in the door but once you made the drive you would find that the car had been sold only hours before you got there. The classic "Bait and Switch" Scam to sell you something else. I found a Dodge Journey SXT that we were interested in at Bill Jacobs Volkswagon in Naperville, Illinois. (107 miles from my home) I made some Phone calls and began the process of attempting to buy the car. I told them I was from downstate and I wanted to see if #1. They had the car on the lot, and #2. If we were even in the same ball park of what I wanted to spend considering my trade and what they were asking for the car. I'm pleased to say that they were diligent in dealing with me, even over the phone. They treated me just like I was there sitting in their showroom. This was amazing customer service. Most Dealers would have (AND SOME DID) dismissed me as a potential customer who was trying to make a deal over the phone. Bill Jacobs did not! I find that to be outstanding considering today's frustrating customer service standards that most of us are forced to deal with. We were close on the deal but both vehicles (my trade and their vehicle) were sight unseen. I told them I was willing to come up to try and put the deal together. I also told them I was going to be very unhappy if I made and hour and a half drive only to find the vehicle was gone. They assured me it was not and even offered to take a small deposit to hold the vehicle. I was Leary of this option and decided to make the drive and if the car was sold by the time I got there the next day, then it was simply not meant to be. I made the drive up after work the following day and arrived late in the evening about and hour and a half before closing. I test drove the vehicle and they appraised mine. The vehicle they had for sale was everything they had advertised. I was pleased with the condition of the car. It needed a set of tires but this was not anything out of the ordinary and they were up front about this from the beginning of the deal. We did some negotiating and were and were able to come to a deal on the vehicle. I felt the negotiations were fair and unpressured. I also felt they gave me a little extra consideration in the deal for taking the time and expense to make the drive up. I was also pleased with my salesman, Cesar Mendoza who was a man of my age (45) and with similar life experiences and not some kid who was going to be gone in the next couple of weeks. Cezar understood my position and was genuinely helpful in putting the deal together. I was also pleased with Sales Manager, Mike Browner who I felt was upfront and straight forward in the negotiation process. I felt it was a fair deal for both of us. Believe me when I tell you this. I did my homework for three weeks, spoke with and priced this type vehicle at 7 different dealers within 200 miles of my home. I also had my vehicle appraised at least that many times and Bill Jacobs was right in line with the previous trade in offers on my vehicle. Overall my experience at Bill Jacobs Volkswagon was great, and I would not hesitate in recommending this dealer to anyone. Good luck in your car shopping and God Bless. We were very pleased with our purchase experience at Bill Jacobs VW in Naperville. Bryan Wiater was a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure and, even though we did quite a bit of negotiating on pric Jacobs VW in Naperville. Bryan Wiater was a pleasure to work with. There was no pressure and, even though we did quite a bit of negotiating on price, the relationship was always cordial. Following the sale Bryan has been very helpful in explaining how the service department works and the best sources for aftermarket accessories. I will definitely shop Bill Jacobs for our next new car. We did quite a bit of research before entering the dealership. To be frank, all dealers have some bad reviews. My guess is that it is as much the fault of the buyer as the dealer. Some people are so unreasonable. Everyone we encountered at Bill Jacobs VW was friendly and helpful. In the end, we got a better deal than we expected. We did work with 3-4 dealerships simultaneously and, in the end, for us, Bill Jacobs had the best combination of price, service, friendly staff and convenience. More
This was the best experience of my car purchasing career. I have bought many cars and dealt with many different dealerships, but this was the most pleasant. I did my homework and got several prices and the I have bought many cars and dealt with many different dealerships, but this was the most pleasant. I did my homework and got several prices and they beat them. I thought that when I got to the dealership they would try to include something I didn't want or need, but I was extremely suprised that everything went smoothly. Brian and John were friendly, informative and very professional. They better watch out being honest and responsive as well as friendly and informative will give the automotive sales industry a good name. The price was the best, the service was extraordinary, and the time of the process was short but nothing was left out, including a comprehensive course in the new vehicle as well as their cards with the caveat that we call with any and all questions at any time. I can't say enough about the experience and the professionalism of John and Brian. Bryan and John you're the BEST! Thanks guys!!!!! More

Salesperson showed us 3 different cars for my mother who is on a budget. Her trade in barely made it into the dealership. Because of that I believe that the salesperson misjudged us and was completely condescending, rude, and unprofessional. Salesman missed the fact that I drove up in a new 2011 Porsche which I recently purchased for cash. That fact should never have mattered anyway since all customers should be treated with respect no matter what!!!!!!!  After the completely unprofessional actions of the salesperson at Bill Jacobs we went across the street to Lexus of Naperville and I purchased my 4 th car from them that evening.  A beautiful ES for my mom. As always they were professional and gave us a great deal. Mohammad was excellent. 2 days later I went next door to Continental Acura and purchased a beautiful car for my daughter from Kirk Roberts. Over the years my family has purchased many cars from Continental and I could not have been more pleased with this purchase. Bill Jacobs missed 2 sales and treated us in a completely horrible way. Please do not visit this dealer for any reason. More
Ricardo Echeverria was fantastic. He was very attentive to our needs and was very helpful. Not once did we feel any pressure from him. He was very empathetic to our situation and recent move and did everyt to our needs and was very helpful. Not once did we feel any pressure from him. He was very empathetic to our situation and recent move and did everything possible to accomodate us. I would highly recommend Ricardo and this dealership as they are honest, sincere, "real", and not the typical car sales people one would expect. We have never owned a volkswagen, but rest assured, because of our experience, Ricardo Echeverria and Bill Jacobs Volkswagen have another customer for life! More
