I called the dealership because I saw that they had a used Audi A8 for sale on Cars.com. My first contact was with Lauri Cavin. However, she was going on vacation, so she turned me over to Kelly Kuckelman, who completed the sales process for me. Dante and I came to terms on a deal, both Kelly and Lauri answered all my questions about the car, and Kelly then picked me up at the airport three days later. (I live in Texas.) My experience at the dealership that day was top notch, including the dreaded "finance" session with Kris. The car was everything they said it was -- and more. No rude surprises. Not even close. All in all I would rate my experience a 9/10. One of the best car buying experiences I've had. Oh, and the car rocks! More

We looked around at 2 Tiguans, sat in the vehicle inside the dealership looked at all teh features, opened the back got in the back of the car, and stil looked around at 2 Tiguans, sat in the vehicle inside the dealership looked at all teh features, opened the back got in the back of the car, and still we were not greated. I grabbed a brochure and on my way out noticed that there were 2 salesman sitting at a table talking right next to the door. I am still interested in buying the Tiguan, but I will definitely never return to Bill Jacobs. More

My son, wife and I went into this dealership to trade-in our old vehicle for a new one. We had just gotten out of our car when we were greeted by a salesperson. We briefly spoke about what we were lookin our old vehicle for a new one. We had just gotten out of our car when we were greeted by a salesperson. We briefly spoke about what we were looking for and were shown to a Passat. After just placing myself into the drivers seat, the salesperson explained that another customer needed his attention and that another salesperson would be able to assist us. The new salesperson was knowledgeable and personable. The salesperson showed us a few different types of cars (Jetta, Golf, GTI, etc.), but we settled back to the Passat. They worked with us to test drive two different models and we settled on one. During one of the test drives, kids being kids, my son explained to the salesperson that we were going to trade-in one of our vehicles; offered pricing and information on the condition of the trade-in...he was trying to help. My wife and I sat in the salespersons office while our son sat out at a table playing games on my phone. At this point, I explained that we wanted to settle on the price of the new car before working on the trade-in. The salesperson came back with one number, I lowered it a lot expecting them to counter. The salesperson said they couldn't give the car away, but I affirmed my position so they could go get another number from the super secret room they kept disappearing to. When the salesperson returned, they quickly said the price was agreeable, "let's see the trade-in". (At the time, I should have noticed this quickness, but I did not.) After waiting for some time, not lengthy, for the appraisal to be completed, the salesperson returned with updated paperwork for the new car. This was a little interesting as we just wanted to know what the trade-in was worth, not in relation to the new car. In any event, the salesperson started talking through the numbers completely glazing over the trade-in value. Noticing the slickness, I explained that their appraisal was off by nearly $10,000. It was at this point that I believe we were now in the "let's say we're giving the customer the lower price on the car, but shaft them on their trade-in" process. My wife and I used Kelley Blue Book to get a rough estimate of the cost of the new car and the trade-in value for our old vehicle. When I asked the salesperson why there was such a drastic difference, they started to explain their number. The most interesting of their explanation was they appraised our trade-in as a completely different model. Bringing this to the salespersons attention didn't seem to make a difference to them. It was at this time that I looked at my wife and said that we are too far off in numbers and we should leave. She agreed, and then the salesperson agreed; apologizing for not being able to come to an agreement. We started to leave, but I noticed the salesperson was making no move to shake my hand, etc. While I was insulted at how they handled the pricing, they were otherwise kind, so I turned and shook the salespersons hand. The experience started positive, but turned sour during the price process. We all know how stressful it is just to think about walking into a dealership. It's even worse when they decided to use a different car during the trade-in process coupled with a low-ball the trade-in price to cover the losses on their acceptance of the new car price. I was really looking forward to good experience at this dealership. I really wanted it to be different than when my wife and I attempted to buy from Bill Jacobs BMW a few years back. At that time they couldn't meet us on a price either; which led us to go to another dealership where they had that same car transferred from Bill Jacobs BMW and gave us the price we were asking. They did take our name and number, though I do not expect them to call us back. If they do, I'll update this review with anything new. More
