This was my second attempt at purchasing a vehicle through Bill Jacobs Volkswagen, and unfortunately, it ended in disappointment again. I was looking to trade in my 2024 Golf R for the newly improved through Bill Jacobs Volkswagen, and unfortunately, it ended in disappointment again. I was looking to trade in my 2024 Golf R for the newly improved 2025 model. However, the sales process felt more like an effort to push me toward settling for what was already on the lot, rather than helping me get the car I truly wanted. After deciding to take things into my own hands—and with support from Volkswagen of America—I learned that dealerships have the ability to trade inventory between each other to better meet customer preferences. This is an option no one at Bill Jacobs ever offered or even mentioned to me. While I still plan to use their service department for maintenance, I won’t be returning to the sales team for any future Volkswagen purchases. Twice was enough. A dealership should be proactive in helping loyal VW drivers get the vehicle that fits their needs, not just the one that’s easiest to sell. More
