Deceitful and dishonorable On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, I contacted Bill Estes Chevrolet to inquire about a vehicle listed on CarGurus advertised as a "Great Deal". The vehicl On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, I contacted Bill Estes Chevrolet to inquire about a vehicle listed on CarGurus advertised as a "Great Deal". The vehicle in question was a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD, internet price was listed at $26,872. I called the dealership to begin the negotiation process. The first question the salesperson asked me was about my trade. Over the phone the salesman valued my trade using KBB at a minimum of $18,000 sight unseen as I would be traveling from Alabama to Indiana for this purchase. The salesman then looked up the Chevrolet mentioned above in their sales inventory. The salesman believed the price of the vehicle to be $30,159. I corrected him and told him that on their website and CarGurus it was listed at $26,872. His next words were "Holy .... it is your lucky day". Next the salesman had to go get authorization from his manager to create a purchase order as I am pre-approved and have financing secured through USAA to make the purchase. I did not hear back from him for several hours nor did I receive the purchase order. I continued to monitor the dealer’s website, admiring the vehicle I was going to purchase when I noticed the price had been increased to $32,995. I called the salesman and asked what the delay was. I was then informed that my trade-in was now only worth $12,000 ($32,000 (new internet price)-$26,000(original advertised price) = $6,000; $18,000(original trade-in value)-$12,000(trade-in value after I asked for purchase order) =$6,000). I find it interesting that the increase in vehicle price is equivalent to the devaluation of my trade-in. The dealership had no intention of honoring the $26,872 advertised price. They did however, have every intention of recouping the $6,000 mistake by instantly devaluing my trade. I have still not received the purchase order that I was promised by the salesman after a wait of more than forty-eight hours. During this time I was assured multiple times by the salesman that the email containing the purchase order was being sent. Please use caution when dealing with this company as they employ deceitful tactics to garner interest in their products and when mistakes (I believe the internet price of $26,872 to be a mistake) are made on their end they will not honor their advertised prices, but would rather the customer pay for their mistakes by devaluing their trade-ins. The salesman I dealt with did all in his power to make things right however, the Used Car Sales Manager, Wayne Rogers, had no such interest. It is amusing that their website touts "respect and integrity with our customers and our staff...we understand the importance of a good reputation". I question the integrity of Bill Estes Chevrolet, Inc., Indianapolis, IN and would advise others to shop elsewhere as this dealership has no desire to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship. You will not receive the advertised price that brought you in to their dealership if it means you, the customer, will be the one coming out ahead. As I complete this review, Bill Estes Chevrolet, Inc., Indianapolis, IN still has the vehicle listed at $26,872. May the buyer beware and shop elsewhere. More

Incorrect time for completion I was told at 11:15 that my car would be available at 5:00 pm at the latest. I asked twice and explained that if it could not be completed that day, I was told at 11:15 that my car would be available at 5:00 pm at the latest. I asked twice and explained that if it could not be completed that day, I would bring it back on Saturday. At 3:15 I left a message regarding ETA for the car and did not receive a return call. I called again at 4:15 and was told he was with someone else and they would give a hand message. Received return call at 4:30 and was told that my car would not be done until morning. I explained that I was working 3 hours away and could not pick up my vehicle and had nothing to drive. When I asked why he told me it would be done his response was “I thought it would be” . He then said I could have a loner until the car was done. Again, I had to drive 3 hours away to work and be clocked in at 6:30 am. Obviously this wasn’t going to work for me. A rental car was $350. I personally can not get my car until Saturday. The mechanic who performed the work should have been consulted on whether the car could be done on time before I was promised that it would be. This has created a week of chaos and frustration. I will not bring my car back for service. More

We got there at 2:300, early! They weren’t done until 6p. Everyone who came in without an appointment was moved up before us. I understand a wait, and line but if you don’t want to take groupon customers don’t sign up for it as a company. Sounds easy to me More
