It was 6:45pm on Wednesday, May 8,2013. We had just returned from a business conference in Las Vegas....my husband opened his windows to air out the car and cool it off-and the windows stuck in the d returned from a business conference in Las Vegas....my husband opened his windows to air out the car and cool it off-and the windows stuck in the down position. Our flight was an hour late and he had planned on driving to Rockford, Illinois for an important business meeting in the morning with rain forecast for the route he was taking. We pulled into the service bay hoping they could help us. Ron Spears took it in the back and checked the technical bulletin and found that it was a blown fuse. He replaced the fuse and offered to sell us an additional fuse in case my husband had any more problems with it out of town. He will now be able to get to Rockford tonight and be there for the training session he needs to do tomorrow. We really appreciated the great customer service and personal attention that we received. It saved our day for sure! More
John Luck was awesome! It was a pleasure working with John and I appreciated his taking the time to walk me through the features on the car. His professionalism was greatly appreciated especially since John and I appreciated his taking the time to walk me through the features on the car. His professionalism was greatly appreciated especially since he was able to talk to me (the wife) about the purchase instead of my husband as some sales people prefer to do. John also had a good sense of humor which helps to alleviate some of the stress associated with purchasing a car. I will highly recommend John Luck to my friends, family, co-workers and my clients. I met with Freddie Decaudin to buy a car. I liked working with him because he listened to what I wanted in a car without trying to offer up different cars with features I didn't want. I knew the car working with him because he listened to what I wanted in a car without trying to offer up different cars with features I didn't want. I knew the car I wanted when I came in to Bill Estes. He got me a great deal on a lease and made it a very easy experience. I relaxed and enjoyed a couple of cups of coffee while he did all the work. I told him I wanted to spend around the same as I was paying on my current car loan. Not only did he stay within the range, it was $10 less than my 5 year old car. When I bought the car it was a couple of days after we had a hail storm. He explained I would just need to bring it in and the dents from the hail would be fixed. I didn't even really notice the dents. I took the car in and worked with Mike Richardson. Mike made the sure the car was taken care of and ready when I was going to be in the next day. When I went to pick up my car the next day both Freddie and Mike took me out to the bay to get my car and make sure it looked ok. It looked beautiful and I was happy to take it home. Both of them displayed such great service and care. Freddie made sure I got a great deal on a car and then worked hand in hand with Mike to make sure my car looked as nice as it did. I would certainly refer people to Freddie or Mike at Bill Estes to get a car. They know how to give customers great service and show how much they appreciate the business More
The overall rating would have been higher except that it took an extremely long time to finalize the paperwork and Andy's tone changed when we declined the extended warranty...for the mileage I drive per ye took an extremely long time to finalize the paperwork and Andy's tone changed when we declined the extended warranty...for the mileage I drive per year, it was higher than the anticipated repairs considering the deductible. In addition, it would have been nice to have a least a half (if not full) tank of gas instead of having to drive directly to the gas station after buying the truck. More

I went to this dealership because they advertise "Guaranteed Approval" and they did not disappoint me one bit. I had to wait a while, but I did leave with my new car and was happy that Andy got my "Guaranteed Approval" and they did not disappoint me one bit. I had to wait a while, but I did leave with my new car and was happy that Andy got my payments down more than anticipated. Stacey was very busy but remained attentive to me and all other customers. Would not do business with another Chevy dealer other than these people...they definitely earn their money! More
I did not even plan to make a purchase that day. Pascal greeted my mother and I when I first pulled up. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with speaking with him! We took the car for a test dri greeted my mother and I when I first pulled up. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with speaking with him! We took the car for a test drive and when we came back, we started the paperwork. It was truly an experience I will cherish. Pascal assured us and took care of us. Everyone who walked past greeted us with a smile and a hand shake. Even though we were already going through the process with Pascal they were all friendly. Because of the kindness and enthusiasm of the Bill Estes staff, I have already referred at least 3 people and will continue to do so! I also love my Nissan Altima! Thank you!!! More
I received absolute first class service at Bill Estes Chevrolet yesterday. From the very moment I got out of my car and walked up to the door I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect beginning Chevrolet yesterday. From the very moment I got out of my car and walked up to the door I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect beginning with Judie Michener and the others I met. It was very important that if I was going to trade in my car that I got the right car at the right price and on terms I could comfortably afford. I was able to accomplish that with my purchase there. What stood out most was the customer service. Stacey Pierce, Sales Associate, was very patient in going over the details of my purchase. She was absolutely "first class" in every aspect. She had the will & determination to get me in the car I wanted and would not give up until she had accomplished both my and her goals. Because of her, I drove from the dealership in a car that was a major upgrade for me. Thanks Stacey. Jeff Haase, Finance Manager, diligently and professionally guided me through the paperwork. With his connections in the financial marketplace he was able to put together a sale that was on my terms without the high pressure. Thanks Jeff. I would recommend Bill Estes Chevrolet to anyone looking for a quality car at a fair and reasonable price. Especially if you have visited dealerships with high pressure, poor customer service experiences. I can assure you that will not happen here. Thanks Judie, Stacie, & Jeff More
Dustin was very attentive to my needs and handled me in a very quick and efficient manner. I was dealing with a totaled car situation, where I was upside down on my loan and trying to get a new car while I very quick and efficient manner. I was dealing with a totaled car situation, where I was upside down on my loan and trying to get a new car while I finished paying the other loan off. He asked me what I was looking for, I gave him and price range, monthly payment range, and types of cars I was considering and he handled the rest. I was in and out within a couple of hours, the financial advisor gave me GREAT advice on options I had for handling both loans at once and how to get rid of the other one quicker. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with and worked diligently to get me exactly what I wanted. I couldn't have had a better experience! More
I purchased my vehicle from Bill Estes in 2006 and have since taken the vehicle there to be serviced when I am in town. In the years since there has been a noticeable decline in customer services as well since taken the vehicle there to be serviced when I am in town. In the years since there has been a noticeable decline in customer services as well as an increase toward pressure sales for unrelated inspections and repairs that are not necessarily needed at that time. Several months back I had my tires rotated by a Firestone Dealer and they noted that the disk brakes would need replacement soon, so I knew to expect that telltale skreeching sound. I began to hear this sound in early December and made an appointment for a disc brake change under the lifetime brake warranty, which were purchased at the dealership three years prior and which I still have paperwork for. The Service Associate that I spoke with when I made the appointment and quoted me a price for the repair, which was in the $250 dollar range. I informed this Associate of the lifetime brakes that I had purchased, he looked up my vehicle records and noted that lifetime brakes were installed on the truck and the appointment was set for the Friday after Christmas. There was a bad snowstorm over Christmas and the morning of the appointment I was called and informed that my appointment was canceled to accommodate the customers who had appointments on the previous day. The Service Associate was less than helpful considering the circumstances, and when I asked if an appointment could be made on Saturday I was promptly informed that the Dealership does not make appointments on Saturday, it is only first come first served. I had already taken a half day off to make the first appointment and the Service Associate showed little care that I was now inconvenienced by the decision to bump my appointment. No exceptions to the Saturday Rule would be changed on my account. So I told the Associate that I would try to make it in the morning. After hanging up, I decided that a wait and see attitude for the repair could end up costing me the entire day, so I called the service department back. I ended up with a different Service Associate and inquired about an appointment on the following week, either the Monday or the Friday. The Service Associate asked when I would be able to bring it in on Monday and I responded with a 1 to 2pm range as this would mirror my original appointment. The Associate stated that there was no way the work could be done and that it would have to be there between 8-9 am. If there was a limited time frame for the vehicle to be dropped off why ask the customer? I inquired about the turn around time and the Associate stated that the vehicle wouldn't even be inspected until 1 or 2pm that afternoon and from there they would call me to let me know their results, which they would charge an additional $49 dollars for the inspection. I then informed the Associate that I already knew the problem was the disk brakes, as stated above, and informed him of the previous conversations with the Service Associates. At this time he informed me that the lifetime brake warranty only covers labor if the product goes bad. When I purchased the brakes original the lifetime warranty for the brake pads covered the cost of the pad and the labor would be the only charge associated with the repair. This Associated clearly felt that this was not the case and expressed that point very clearly. After going back and forth with the Associate he pulls up my record and informs me that the brakes that were installed on my vehicle were not lifetime and that I would have to pay full price for the repair in addition to the inspection. At this point I realized that the the high price paid for service at Bill Estes was not worth the headache created by the Service Staff. After hanging up I called the Firestone Dealer in Brownsburg which had done the tire rotation earlier that fall and asked for a quote, which was promptly given. That quote was for half the price of the same work at Bill Estes for the same product. I cannot understanding the mindset associated with the lack luster service offered by Bill Estes and I hope that this experience prevents others from paying a higher cost for poor service. More
