Purchased my truck certified pre owned. Had an issue with the start/stop engine function and another issue. Scheduled a drop off a week in advance. Dropped the truck off at 9am. Got a call from the service department at 5pm saying they cant recreate the issue/didn’t find anything wrong with it and said if I still wanted them to work on it they would need to keep it overnight. Let them keep the car. I called them the following day to follow up about 1pm. They said they’d call me back and never did. I went in and got the truck about 2 hrs later. I’ve used several auto shops in the Brentwood and Antioch area, I’ve never been treated so dismissively and disrespectfully. Cost me hundreds of dollars and my truck is still broken. More

I arrived at the dealership with preapproval in hand. Had to wait for over 2 hours. Also noticed when I got home the front plate and license frame were missing. I scheduled an appointment for Friday 9:30 am for 2 recalls s seat light that came on but disappeared and a oil change. First I had to wait a hour and 30 min for a shuttle. Then they had my truck for the whole day and I get a call at 4:00 pm saying that the seat light could not be diagnosed because it went away and one recall had no solution yet and the other recall needed the part to be ordered. And that they did not have time for the oil change and wanted me to pick it up. xxx I had an appointment like everyone else and the truck was there the whole day and no recall or seat light work was done . They just pushed my car to the back . I’m pretty sure because it’s not a job that they make money. I think it’s b.s . They should respect the appointment .I made one like everyone else. More
It was a many months process to order and take possessions the car (truck). I first ordered a Maverick and then changed what model Maverick on the order per guidance from Ford on what would be de possessions the car (truck). I first ordered a Maverick and then changed what model Maverick on the order per guidance from Ford on what would be delivered first. When that didn't produce the result desired, the dealer provided good guidance on what truck to change the order to (Ranger) based on my requirements. However, changing the actual order from a Maverick to a Ranger was confusing. The sales person was changed during this time and the turnover from one to another caused a couple of communication problems. In addition, the dealership owner ended up signing my name to the new Ranger order, which was just wrong. Once I took position of the car, the dealer convince me to buy a maintenance contract an a extended warranty. Time will tell if extended warranty was worth the cost. I am using the truck as a tow vehicle, so it just might. More
