Went to Biggers Mitsubishi to trade in my 2008 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring for a 2010 Outlander because I had heard great things about it and my wife needed a better car in the snow. Upon my entrance to the lot I was welcomed by a friendly salesman by the name of Jim Casey. He went through the typical dog and pony show as every car salesman does and the whole process didnt get interesting until the Finance Manager got involved. I wont get into the pure details but I will post some of what he said to me below. Please keep in mind that tis conversation took place after he tried to undercut my trade by $3500 which he later added in upon my second visit. I said "You are going to put the Mazda on your lot for 25k-27k" He responded "If you can find someone to buy that car for 25k, you tell them to come to me and I will sell it to them". I said, when I told Jim Casey I wanted the 60 Month Financing Option, he came back at 72 months at a higher rate that was not disclosed to me. Emil said to that, and I quote " If you would have asked about the rate, we would have told you. The rates are posted on out website, you could have gone there and found them." I said at the conclusion of this nightmare, "Let me tell you what I really think, I dont know if I want to do business with you as of now." He said" Let me tell you what I think, if you find someone to pay 25k for that car, I will eat the check." All in all, it was a horrible experience from the start. They decieve you from the get go and try to justify it by belittling you. Maybe I am wrong, so you be the judge. If you like get taking advantage of and lied to, Biggers is your spot. In closing I went to Schaumburg Mitsubishi and they put together a much better quote on the 1st try. They are very straight forward without the deception!
