Rip Off The goal of the service dept at Big Two is to rip people off. On my Toyota, the center display screen went dead. Big Two quoted me $1,500 to replace. The goal of the service dept at Big Two is to rip people off. On my Toyota, the center display screen went dead. Big Two quoted me $1,500 to replace. I went to another valley Toyota dealer and they told me that Toyota covers this under warranty for 9 years, regardless of mileage. They replaced it for free. Big Two service department is a bunch of crooks. More
Was good at one time, but now as a repeated customer HORRIBL We have been coming to this location since we moved to AZ. Lately, my car's cabin would fill up with a fuel smell. Each time I have brought it in ther We have been coming to this location since we moved to AZ. Lately, my car's cabin would fill up with a fuel smell. Each time I have brought it in there was been no visible leak and no smell. The service technician B treated both myself and my husband like we were complete morons! He told my husband that since there was no smell or leak there was nothing that they could do. We took photos of the leak on the ground plus where we could see gasoline on the engine but he was unwilling to help us out. My husband wanted to show the photos to the mechanic that would work on the car so that they would know where to look & show him in person. Since we didn't have an appointment on Saturday and they would have to recreate the leak and smell so my husband left. We are planning on taking it back to our home town Toyota (400 miles away) as they will look at our photos and have my husband show them where he saw the pool of gasoline. I will be contacting Corporate Totyota regarding this hazardous issue with my car and that this location is unwilling to listen to our concerns and take us seriously. More

Horrible Maintenance Experience WOW-THIS is Toyota? Had my car in for a routine oil change that took almost 2 hours. Pretty slow, but then was told I needed new wiper blades & that I WOW-THIS is Toyota? Had my car in for a routine oil change that took almost 2 hours. Pretty slow, but then was told I needed new wiper blades & that I could only buy them from Toyota. When I begged to differ ( I bought & installed new ones from Auto Zone just 2 months earlier ) I was met with Major Attitude from the guy "handling" my maintenance. Up in my face promising I was wrong (thanks for calling me, your customer, a liar) and that he would PAY ME to prove I bought those blades at an auto supply store. Huh,really?? Had a quick chat with the sales manager who tried to smooth things over. But, nah, that whole drama was just wrong & they need to take a closer look at who's "servicing" their customers. More
Coupon is worthless I presented a coupon for 15% off for 92k+ maintenance at the time of write up as the instructions said. At that time my service adviser, Adam Rodrigu I presented a coupon for 15% off for 92k+ maintenance at the time of write up as the instructions said. At that time my service adviser, Adam Rodriguez told me that he couldn't use this 15% coupon on already discounted prices. He showed me no prices that was being discounted. He didn't show me anything that said this is normal price and this is the already discounted price. In fact I had called a few months ago about transmission flush and it was the same price then as it was yesterday. When I came to pick up my vehicle he gave me 5% off a couple of items that saved me about 25 dollars. I paid 903 dollars for service expecting to get about a 120 dollar discount. He told me it wasn't much but it was something because he couldn't give me the 15% on already discounted prices. This was basically a slap in my face and more of an insult than anything. I understand he is probably on commission and I feel he just took my savings. To me it seems pointless to have a coupon advertised and then you are told that they count honor it on already discounted prices. How do I know what the original prices are and how do I know that they are discounted. I don't and neither does anyone else. So the next time I go to another Toyota service department, I will get the final price in writing before I even mention coupon. It is a tactic I assume that you always use so this is why I will not refer you to anyone and why I don't intend to visit this service department again. More
Nickel and Dimed I was looking for a reasonably honest dealer for my 2010 Toyota Venza. I didn't find it here. Toyota sent out an ad for brakes and I needed brakes. I was looking for a reasonably honest dealer for my 2010 Toyota Venza. I didn't find it here. Toyota sent out an ad for brakes and I needed brakes. Price was $99.99 for front brakes with $50 rebate Visa card. I called told them about the coupon and went for my 60,000 mile checkup to see if I had a brake issue. Sure enough I did. Guess what, coupon didn't apply. Really, why didn't you tell me that when I set up the appointment??? Only certain brakes are included and then they start listing off what services aren't included. Worse they tried every which way but loose to include small charges here and there that most wouldn't question. My service was supposed to be $117.99. When I paid and looked at the invoice, they slipped in $7.43 for shop supplies, had to wait while they hunted up Dan to fix it. Got a rental car that was supposed to have a full fuel tank, of course it wasn't, I drove 20 miles and had to fill it up with 5 gallons, should have got me 100 miles. They put the price as $35 for a whole day for the vehicle when I drove it for three hours which was to cost $15. Then, I asked to see a manager about the brake special and why they didn't honor it. The manager was pretty slick and while he stood there, he was working on his smart phone. Oh, well, it was only for this certain name brand brakes and oh yeah, you have to have the rotors turned but they aren't included. So, best they could do was $199.99, no VISA card. Really, why did Toyota send me, a Venza owner, that ad? They knew what kind of car I had. He told me I should have asked when I called. I did. Well, of course, it's to get you in their shop and then sell you $700 worth of services that you can get from Sun Devil for $450. I was really hoping to find an honest dealer service shop. I guess they just don't exist in our world. If you have to go to a dealer, they are nice, shop is clean, fun things in their dealership, you can rent a loaner car, but you are paying for that in all the little extras they try to tack on your bill. My advice . . . get the price before you go, write it down, and then watch your bill when you pay. They would have made an extra $30 or so off me so every 100 customers they can make $3000 in extra profit. That's not bad for a day. More
You've got to see this dealership Last November I got an amazing price on a new 2014 Toyota Corolla S, a couple of thousand less than what was offered by the dealership I've worked wit Last November I got an amazing price on a new 2014 Toyota Corolla S, a couple of thousand less than what was offered by the dealership I've worked with for 20 years, who were unable to meet the price Big Two quoted. I have never seen a dealership like this one; not only is it spotlessly clean, but they have a café, salon, barber, and massage businesses on the premises. I was offered any of these services free when I was looking for a car, when I came back to buy one, and when I brought my car in for service. I've eaten twice at the café, and the prepared sandwiches and salads are excellent. The staff have to be the friendliest, most customer-oriented people I've ever dealt with. More
