Beth I just wanted to apologize for any confusion when you were in for service last week. I have reviewed the coupon and it does state that it is for TCMC pads only and does not include rotor resurface. I agree that when the appointment was set they should have checked to see if the TCMC brake pads were available for your particular vehicle. Unfortunately they are not and the Person you spoke to when setting appointment did not realize. I do apologize for the poor communication on that part. We did still offer to replace the pads for the quoted $99.95 however. The additional expense would have been to machine the rotors because your vehicle had a brake pulsation and simply replacing the brake pads would not have corrected that concern. The advisor felt it was better to be upfront with you than to replace the pads and then have you upset because it did not resolve the pulsation when braking. If the rental vehicle was not full when you left we would not have charged you for the fuel. Since you did put fifteen dollars in fuel in the vehicle I waived the rental charge. The shop supplies that are included for miscellaneous supplies such as grease, shop rags, etc. was also waived on your bill. If we would have done the front and rear brakes as well as machine the rotors it would have been $400 plus tax. This would have been less than the $450 you stated Sun Devil would have charged. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations and would be willing to give you a $50 in store credit it you would like to give us another opportunity. Ms. Paola, I apologize that you feel that your paperwork should have been processed as a purchase and not a lease. I agree that there are a lot of pieces of paperwork to complete and that it can get confusing. I have reviewed all of the paperwork regarding your transaction and can confirm that you were given the "Cash for Clunkers" funds and that your down payment was reflected in the lease. In fact, I have emailed you copies of these documents as well for your own records. I also wanted to let you know that I also went through the paperwork and confirmed that you did not pay over MSRP for your vehicle and that you also were able to take advantage of a subvened lease with Toyota. I do apologize that you feel that this was not your intent and would be more than happy to work with you to minimize any further issues or concerns. While I can't go back and change a transaction from 3 years ago, I would like to try and make your lease-end options as easy for you as possible. I do not know where you emailed me. I have not received anything. I am more than willing to take this to the next level. I was "tricked" when signing the paperwork and you know it. We never discussed leasing as an option! Why would I have put so much money down and put different wheels on a vehicle I was not planning to keep.
