Made an appointment for check engine light issue on brand new truck. Brought it in on Thursday. The diagnostic was not run until Monday. When we called on Friday, Joe in the service department was very abrup new truck. Brought it in on Thursday. The diagnostic was not run until Monday. When we called on Friday, Joe in the service department was very abrupt. He gave no update and said, “best I can tell you, it will be Monday.” Hung up. The diagnostic showed as software update needed to be completed. Seems like all this could have been done on Thursday. If an appointment is made then the dealership should be ready to at least run the diagnostic at that time. When I called Monday for an update, I was placed on hold while the person went to “check” the status. That person hung up without coming back on the phone to provide an update. More
