Beginning in October 2024, the audio in our brand new Ford Escape PHEV purchased at Empire Ford in Huntington began working only intermittently. After three trips to that shop in which they had the car for a total of about five weeks, they did not repair it, even though each time we picked it up we were told it was fixed. Then the Navigation Fault showed up. I called Ford corporate. Tech there said take it to a different shop. Best advice ever. Steve understood the problem, the audio was fixed with updates in one visit, and the navigation fixed the next week. As I waited, Steve kept me (as well as everyone else waiting) frequently updated on progress. He is a consummate professional and has a great tech team working with him. Steve will be in charge of all our future maintenance work. More
I had plans of buying another mustang , but service for my first one was so horrible, I’ll probably never purchase another ford again just so I don't have to deal with their garbage service. You have to pull teeth to have them repair components they damaged and cover warranty. But their go to is not being able to duplicate any issues until you run out of warranty, than they will find the issue in a matter of minutes, but while your under warranty you will have to bring it back a total of 6 times. I have bought dozens of cars over the years, new and used, from dealers and private sellers across 4 states. I have to say this was by far my worst experience. We came to an agreement on price and when I picked it up the paperwork didn't break out the taxes. Unfortunately for me I signed and didn't realize the problem. I started by talking to the salesman who referred me to the manager (M.Ali) who said I'm SOL, so I called the General Manager of Used Cars. He seemed to actually care until he sent me back to Ali and said Ali would "make it right". Ali said he would talk with the salesman and between them straighten it out . Never called me back. Next call came from Leo Director of used cars. Leo left a message at my office to call him. Over the next 3 or 4 days I called him 6 times and left messages with no return call. They ended up costing me $1000.00. I should have read all the bad reviews ahead of time. They are the poster dealer for what you think of when you think typical shady, screw the buyer dealer. Steer clear, once they have your money you become useless to them. I'm sure the will respond with how sorry they are and how they want me to call so that they can make it right. Deceptive and non-responsive. I brought my car for simple service (oil change and tire rotation) while I waited. Thhis was pursuanbt to a Ford maintenance plan. After about 2 1/4 hours I inquired about the status of my car. I was told they had not even started the service. When I complained about that to the service manager I was told to take my car and have it serviced elsewhere. Biener refused to honor the service plan (breach of contractr) and service my car. When I brought this to the attention of management, I was ignored. A very frustrating and disappointing experience! I would not recommend to anyone. More
