Because the protection policy purchased with the new car would not cover the chip/crack/windshield replacement, we filled a claim with our car insurance policy. There was no issue in doing so, so we booked an appointment with Safelite, the company recommended by our insurance. The Dealerrater review went live on Monday, Nov 28th at 9:00. At 10:00 I received a call from Lennon from Bianchi Honda saying they were distressed from hearing I had a bad Service Dept experience. Please know that I did not have a bad experience with the Service Dept, just the protection policy! I informed Lennon that I had a windshield replacement appointment schedule for that Wednesday, Nov 30 through my car insurance. Because of the size of the ever growing crack, I did not have time to wait to negotiate with Bianchi over responsibility. Lennon said that Jason Porreco was willing to pay towards the deductible on my car insurance. Our deductible is $0 on windshield replacement due to crack/chips. I was then offered $200 towards the recalibration of the radar on the windshield and a loaner car for the period of repair. My windshield was replaced on Nov 30th and the radar recalibrated on Dec 7th. The only cost to me was the replacement of the inspection sticker, which is totally acceptable since that is the procedure if I had only used my car insurance without Biacnchi involved at all. I am satisfied with the resolution of the situation.

A typical Honda takes 4-5 quarts full synthetic and that oil change is $69.95 and $19.95 for a tire rotation.
