Terrible - Lost a Loyal Customer I wanted to make you aware of a situation I encountered today at your dealership. I am in the market for a new car and have been very interested i I wanted to make you aware of a situation I encountered today at your dealership. I am in the market for a new car and have been very interested in the XC60. As a current Volvo S60 owner I am obviously familiar with the brand and had hoped to buy another. While looking online I found a listing for a specific XC60 and called your dealership twice to inquire further. No one called me back. And so my husband and I drove out to your dealership from Fairfax. We showed your GM the email regarding the listing and he said, "The car your asking about doesn't exist." We were finally able to get him to explain that the car we were looking for had been turned into a loaner vehicle which begs the question- why is it being advertised online and why didn't anyone call me back and save me the time of driving out to see you. I fail to see how the customer is responsible for having this information. In this day and age with all the technology we have at our fingertips, it is the responsibility of your dealership to keep up to date your current inventory and to make certain that your online sites reflect any changes. Your GM exhibited strong disinterest in helping us. He simply told us that he has sold all 2016 XC60's and never offered to show us any alternatives. When we asked to see one of your S60's he didn't bother to obtain keys on our way out and so when we got there we were unable to see the inside of the vehicle. And so he sent us on our way. I am surprised at the lack of energy and enthusiasm that Volvo has shown in trying to keep us as customers. We will now be looking at other car manufacturers when purchasing our new SUV. More
