Made an appointment to have the sound system checked on my 2004 beetle (which has less than 60,000 miles on it)because the speakers were intermittentl Made an appointment to have the sound system checked on my 2004 beetle (which has less than 60,000 miles on it)because the speakers were intermittently sounding fuzzy. When the service department called to report their findings, they stated we needed a new radio to the tune of $650. We told them the radio was working fine and as we explained on our drop off service envelope, it was the CD player which was not sounding clear and asked if there was a separate amp for that. The rep was not sure, did some stuttering and said he would have to get back to us. Two hours later, we texted them for information. Fifteen minutes later they called and said now it was the amplifier and it would cost $1002 (at least that is where they would start). At this point we had lost faith in their ability to diagnose the problem correctly and told them not to do anything and we would pick up the car. When we went to retrieve the car, the dash board looked like they had taken a crow bar, screwdriver or some other inappriate tool to attempt to remove the radio. The entire dashboard has been gouged and scraped. Because they did not use the SPECIFIC TOOL that VW has to remove the radio and in all likelihood broke the tabs that holds the radio, they had to glue the radio back into the dashboard. The entire face of the now-gashed dashboard was COVERED in a sticky glue-like substance. So not only did we have to pay $149 for a misdiagnosis, we also now have a car that was damaged by the service department. We have used Karen Radley VW in Woodbridge for many years and have always received excellent service. I would drive 2 hours back there rather than EVER have this dealership service department touch my car again! More

Internet price increased by 50% at dealership on same car We found the perfect car on CarGurus at a great price. We went directly to the dealer site to confirm price and availability. We drove 2 hours to purchase car, with $10,000 down and financing in place. The car went from $17,877 to nearly $30,000!!! Apparently, we didn't "qualify" for the "incentives" that were used to get to that low price. When we asked for a breakdown, the only thing they could list was the $500 college student credit. If you MUST visit this dealership, I highly suggest that you request a list of the incentives built into at vehicle you are looking at. We wasted an entire Saturday on a wild goose chase for an offer that was non-existent to the general public. More

These go for $7-8k off all day long anywhere else. Thanks for nothing, I'll take my business elswhere. More

Helped us fill out all the paperwork, explaining everything before we signed it. It takes a while to do all the paperwork, but they made sure we were comfortable and provided beverages. We came from 3 hours away to buy this vehicle, and we're not disappointed. We would highly recommend them. Also Mark and Galen from the financing department were helpful. More

"Goodwill" is alive and well at Don Beyer and Volvo N.A." Volvo N.A. probably knows that we started buying Volvos in 1975 (5 total), and Don Beyer knows we've bought 2 from them, when they decided to replace Volvo N.A. probably knows that we started buying Volvos in 1975 (5 total), and Don Beyer knows we've bought 2 from them, when they decided to replace our 2013 XC70's engine at no cost to us as a "goodwill" remedy. I'm still marveling that brand/dealer loyalty has real value today and will tell everyone about this conclusion. Ryan Clowser was superb and deserves recognition for "shepherding" us through the process. Kudos More

I have always been treated fairly during the entire process. Kelly Vafadar started off as my service manager and has now moved into sales. I trust that she will always give me the best service and price. Matt is another asset to your team, between the two of them I believe that I am getting a great price. I could shop all over northern va. and possibly (possibly) save a $100 but there is a value to my time and shopping at Beyer assures me that I will get a very good price without all the hassle of going from dealer to dealer and enduring the endless bait and switch. That is why I travel 50 miles to your dealership. Bottom line keep doing what you are doing and don't let some accountant figure that you could make $50 more per car and end up losing that very special relationship that you have with your customers More
