After spending some time at other dealerships looking at various vehicles and dealing with unknowledgeable and pushy salesmen, I entered Porsche Beverly Hills dealership expecting the same treatment. I various vehicles and dealing with unknowledgeable and pushy salesmen, I entered Porsche Beverly Hills dealership expecting the same treatment. I was thrilled to find this was going to be a very different experience. I was greeted with a huge welcoming smile by Alex Manzari who listened to what I was looking for and showed me all the available options. He was honest, and knowledgeable about the car (Porsche Cayenne S) as well as the other cars at the other dealerships I had looked at. He never critiqued the other cars I had looked at but showed me how the Cayenne was better. Many dealerships find women to be unknowledgeable about cars and communicate this. I was not, Alex treated me as a serious buyer and owner from the very beginning. I never felt any pressure from him either. I felt absolute trust and faith in him as my salesman which is something I have never experienced. I have had my beautiful black Porshe Cayenne S for a week now and it just gets better and better. I absolutely love my car. I also had the best car buying experience too which made for a wonderful beginning to my new drive. From deciding which car with the vast inventory, to the knowledge about the cars that Alex has to the easy and efficient financing the entire experience was amazing!!!! My husband who has a BMW has never been treated like this at their dealership and he is already planning his trip to Alex at Porshe. We are so happy to have met you Alex and thank you so very much for making this experience fantastic on every level!!! More
The MOST terrible car buying experience EVER! Poor The MOST terrible car buying experience EVER! Poor customer service, poor communication skills and not accommodating at all. If you know what exactly The MOST terrible car buying experience EVER! Poor customer service, poor communication skills and not accommodating at all. If you know what exactly you want and how much you're willing to spend, you better look for a different dealership. They're only good if you walk in with unlimited budget and very flexible on the car and package you're getting. I've driven Porsche since I was 24. I will NOT step into this dealership ever again. Purchased a low mileage certified 2011 Carrera GTS cabriolet sight unseen. The salesman (Glen Fagin) assured me the car was perfect and the Porsche website makes some pretty bold claims for the certif cabriolet sight unseen. The salesman (Glen Fagin) assured me the car was perfect and the Porsche website makes some pretty bold claims for the certified pre-owned program so I felt pretty safe. Car arrived with chips on both doors, curbing on a rear wheel, a badly resprayed bumper, damaged roof, corroded wheel centers and heavily marred and over-polished (thinned) paintwork. I informed Glen Fagin and asked for them to either fix the problems or unwind the deal. He escalated to John George who called me discriminating (umm, I'm paying $110,000 I think I'm allowed to be discriminating lol) and offered a paltry amount (about a tenth of the estimate to fix). He then escalated to Joe Kelley (who offered a quarter of the estimate to fix). He then escalated to Rick Nanas (who said he'd call back and never did). Who knew car dealerships had such a hierarchy (!) Each communication followed the same script: politeness, an expressed desire to make me a "happy customer", feigned ignorance of the situation requiring an explanation from the beginning, a request for time to consider matters (aka stalling) and a promise to call or email back (which rarely, if ever, happened). After three weeks of this messing around the dealership has ceased all communications with me. Lesson learned, definitely don't buy anything used from Beverly Hills Porsche without a rigorous independent pre-purchase inspection. Include paint thickness, the GTS has almost no paint left. Don't take the sales teams word for anything (and if you do, get it in writing) and don't expect any sort of assistance/support once you've taken the car off the lot. Once they have your money, you are on your own. BTW Porsche Cars North America are pretty much unable to help. The dealerships are independently owned and PCNA have little to no leverage over them. They can "facilitate" an outcome but that doesn't help if the dealership is unwilling to cooperate. And if you are wondering why pay extra from a prestige marque dealership if there's absolutely no factory backup or integrity, me too. I'd gladly buy from a friendly back street car lot at this point, and save a fortune too. I've owned 3 Ferraris, 4 Porsches, a Mercedes and numerous Audis and BMWs. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had More
I went in to take a look at a used 911 they had on CARS.COM. The salesman called to tell me it had been sold, but I was a few blocks away by the time he called. I ended up buying a beautiful 2000 91 CARS.COM. The salesman called to tell me it had been sold, but I was a few blocks away by the time he called. I ended up buying a beautiful 2000 911 with 35k miles. I haggled and got a great price. My sales guy, Mark I. was very courteous and made time for me, even though I wasn't the most spendy person on the lot. Overall, a great experience. One would think that a Porsche dealer in BH wouldn't even care about someone that only wants to spend $40 on a car - but you'd be wrong. Very impressed with this dealer. I'd highly recommend. More
