This purchase experience was definitely unique. We drove from Riverside to BWM of Beverly Hills to purchase a vehicle; it took almost 2 hours to get there and we were hoping for a quick transaction We drove from Riverside to BWM of Beverly Hills to purchase a vehicle; it took almost 2 hours to get there and we were hoping for a quick transaction. Everything started off fine-- the car was in mint condition, our sales person was very polite and professional... and then came time to deal with the finance lady. By far the worst car buying experience. She had a terrible attitude and although we could tell that she was desperately trying to control her bad stutter, she simply did not have the correct attitude or communication skills to deal with anyone. We were surprised that an employee of a luxury dealership would communicate in such horrible way. We understand that part of her job is to upsell extras as much as possible but when she is not using the correct approach, a customer can easily become uncomfortable with poor tactics. When offering the BMW prepaid service package I kept asking if it was possible to purchase the package separate instead of including it in the financing and she didn't have an answer she simply began to berate us for not wanting to finance the package. Totally unprofessional and definitely an opportunity for retraining. This caused us to walk out of the deal and begin our search for another dealership, but the car was simply too perfect to let go. Our sales person managed to work out a decent deal and we were able to take the vehicle albeit not without some minor issues. We strongly feel that if we had a different finance person, the ordeal could have been avoided and the purchase could have been a lot smoother. This experience certainly left a sour taste in our mouth and when asked how our first BMW experience went, I could definitely say our previous experiences at Lexus, Infiniti, and even Tesla have all been great. Their personnel are all well trained, something the finance lady at BWM of BH could benefit from. She definitely does not have what it takes to give the "World Famous BWM of Beverly Hills," a good name. More
