We have gone to the same dealer for years, but when I was in need of a new car and my other dealer counted provide we came to Bettenhausen because of the reputation the had. Barb, our salesperson, took the needs that I needed in a new car and she went out of her way to help me find the perfect car I needed. I drove out of the lot that day with the new Jeep. I had looked at a dealer in Bradley (near my home) and they had neither the selection nor the desire (it seemed) to help me find a car. It was kind of like, this is what we have, this is what you will pay. At Bettenhause, Tom showed me several vehicles, offered me numerous options and helped get me in a great car for a great price. We were allowed to check the truck and test drive it one more time before the purchase. Tom treated us like we were part of his family. The delivery process only took a few minutes. The whole staff there was friendly and you could tell they enjoyed what they were doing. Next time I need another vehicle, there will be no shopping around. Every one of the staff at Bettenhausen Dodge Ram, from the sales people to the sales manager, to the young man who affixed my plates to my ever had! Not only was the price I ended up paying more than fair, but the amount I was offered for my trade-in was also more than fair. Very friendly without being pushy; informative salespeople who are not "in your face" types. I sent an email initially, and they answered without deluging me with ads. When I called with questions, they were answered directly, not dancing around the issue. They did really low-ball our trade in, but when we said we would go to CarMax to take them up on their offer, the trade in offer suddenly rose to what we expected. I don't know why you have to do the dance for that kind of thing with car dealers. Maybe in general, they are hoping that people don't know the value of their trade ins. Otherwise, I would buy another car through this dealer and would definitely recommend them to someone else, in particular Bill Smith and Barbara Lloyd. More
