Erik is by far our favorite car salesman that we have ever worked it. He keeps us updated through the whole process and got us the exact car we wanted. Dishonest and shady. Brought my two year old Grand Cherokee in for service – lane departure wasn’t working and service air suspension light was on. After keeping the vehicle for two weeks, the service advisor Cheryle finally got back to me (via text message) and said nothing was covered under warranty and it was gonna cost me $1300 to repair everything - claiming water damage was the reason because a button was sticking. No proof of water damage, they just came to that conclusion based on the button sticking and I know from years of owning these vehicles that those buttons stick even if there’s dust stuck in them. I knew there was no water damage so I knew this was xx. I could not get anybody on the phone to discuss this with me no matter how many times I tried to call. They would only communicate with me via text message. So I told them to get my car ready and I was coming to pick it up Once they realized they weren’t going to get any money out of me, suddenly their story changed and half of the work needing to be done was magically covered by warranty - so now it would only cost me around $600 to replace one part. Still xx so I refused service and got my car. The suspension problems magically disappeared and a second opinion at another dealership told me it could have just been an overheating problem. I will never return to this dealership again, and will make the drive back to my old dealership in Braintree, who I trust. More
