After an unpleasant visit to Steve Lewis Subaru, I went to Bertera and bought a new 2013 Impreza from Andrea McCorkindale. Therefore this didn't require much discussion before settling on a sale price. Also, the vehicle had undesirable rear bumper conditions, and cost to fix was basically absorbed by dealer. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the quality of bump repair and touch up done. Bumper looks brand new and driving away in a spectacular looking vehicle felt awesome. We were so happy with how smooth everything went, we spent less than 1hr there before we put money down and left well pleased. THAT happens only Rarely when my wife and I are purchasing a big OR small ticket item. Thanks again Jeff! More

In lieu of my fear of smarmy stereotypical salespeople, I had the extreme good fortune of finding Joshua Menke at Bertera Subaru. Josh was the antithesis of the negative experiences I'd had in the past. He was professional, knowledgeable, personable, patient, and concerned about finding the right car for me. Joshua didn't give a scripted sales pitch, but instead asked thoughtful questions to help make useful car suggestions that fit me stylistically and financially. I felt comfortable and respected and was able to find a car that I love. It was a pleasurable experience from the morning of test driving to the day I picked up the car to the followup call from Josh to make sure I was completely satisfied, because I was treated with integrity and honesty. I was in a sticky situation....My car recently was classified as "dead", or the "you can get a new engine or a new car" phrase. It was a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta. My son and I headed over to Bertera Subaru in West Springfield that same night and bought a car. Bill was the perfect salesman. He was likable, extremely patient (poor guy had to deal with my pickiness, color changes, etc.) We both agreed that Bill couldn’t have done a better job finding "THE" car for me. He was more of a friend...Due to our busy lifestyle, he went with it, working through the phone frequently, and keeping us updated on everything. Everyone knows when you walk in to a car dealership, you're going to immediately be bothered by one maybe two salesmen fighting over whom is going to commission off of this sale...But WE picked Bill. We weren’t picked out. One of the biggest differences this dealership had that I noticed was smiles and friendliness. We walk in and get greeted with smiles; they were there for you...Which that is how it should be when you're buying a big ticket item such as a car. But regardless of price, they are for now the best auto dealership we have ever dealt with. They even gave me a loaner car for a week or so, until my car came. I will be returning to this location for my service and for future purchases. And I recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a Subaru. More
