Pleasant experience throughout I have spent 4 months looking at cars and finally decided on a Subaru Forester. In May, I worked with Dan and he gave me a written estimate for a 2015 that seemed quite fair. I wasn't ready to make a decision and 4 months later decided the Forester was exactly what I wanted. This morning I stopped by with my written estimate and worked with M.J. I asked if they could still honor the estimate. M. J. came back and I ended up getting a 2016 for almost the same exact price. Everyone I dealt with was respectful and a pleasure to work with! More

It was refreshing to be able to drive a car with out getting bogged down by a high-pressure sales pitch. I cannot recommend Bertera and Keith enough, it was best experience we had while looking for a car and we look forward to driving the new Outback for a long time. More

Sales department is amazing but look elsewhere for service First i'd like to say that the sales department at Beterra Subaru is 5 Stars! Their service department manager is 0 Stars! I purchased a new 2015 Suba First i'd like to say that the sales department at Beterra Subaru is 5 Stars! Their service department manager is 0 Stars! I purchased a new 2015 Subaru WRX at Berterra in January 2015. In February I began having satellite radio interruption on my commute to work from Huntington MA. I made a service appointment and they found a loose connection and fixed it. The interruptions stopped. In April the interruptions (one day 7 interruptions in 11 minutes lasting up to 30 seconds each) resumed and I made another appointment. From the time I made the call Carlos and his service people all began telling me it was probably due to the nature of satellite radio and that I'd have to live with it. I have had 5 other vehicles with satellite radio and I still own 2 others (Ford Fusion and Nissan Titan) that do not experience the same issues regardless of the weather conditions and route traveled to work. When I picked up the car I was told there was nothing they could do and no repairs to the radio were necessary. I reached out and left a message with Carlos on a Monday. Didn't receive a call back so I contacted Shawn Sullivan (sales mgr) on Friday and he got Carlos on the phone. Carlos recommended lodging a complaint with Subaru and he'd call on Monday with the # to call Subaru. No call on Monday or Tuesday. Wednesday I reached out and was transferred twice to an extension that just rang and ran. On Wednesday I called and spoke to Shawn Sullivan again. Carlos came on the line and gave me the # for Subaru. I called Subaru and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes the rep began telling me XM Radio coverage varies and Carlos @ Berterra should be making the recommendations to solve the issue. The also asked me to contact Sirius XM to reset the radio which i did and the reset did not make any difference. The Subaru rep took my name and number and told me she would call Carlos. After 2 weeks I just got a call today from Subaru and she said Carlos made no recommendations to resolve the issue and no repairs are necessary. She continued on her rant that the interruption in service was probably due to the signal the satellites were sending. If this were true I would experience the same interruptions with my other 2 vehicles. Very Very Very Dissapointed in Subaru, Berterra Subaru and Carlos Balula their service manager. More

I was nervous, and anxious, but he really did talk to us like we were his friends, just chatting, answering our questions. It really was a great experience. Tom, the Finance guy, gave me the best APR he could get. He really made me cry when we went through the paperwork, my 8 years of hard work paid off. I am really pleased with my purchase! Thanks Guys! I went to multiple dealers in the area after I decided to trade in my old Infinit I had a wonderful experience at Bertera Subaru with Keith Goldsmith. I went to multiple dealers in the area after I decided to trade in my old Infiniti and buy a new Outback. Bertera Subaru is the first dealer I went to and supringly, they gave a very good price on both new car and my trade-in car. When you see you old car worths as you expected or even beyond your expect, you would be very happy. Besides great price, Keith is the most knowledgable salesman I've worked with during my purchase. At my three visits to the dealership, he kindly introduced every feature comes with the new Outback. Especially during the second time, my girlfriend came and also had a test drive. I've now owned the car for a week, I really like it. Finally got my dream car. Thanks Keith and Bertera Subaru! More

Ask for Tyler ... he's the greatest! Just purchased a 2015 Legacy. I previously purchased a 2012 Outback from Bertera in Hartford. I am an older woman/driver and when I became aware of Just purchased a 2015 Legacy. I previously purchased a 2012 Outback from Bertera in Hartford. I am an older woman/driver and when I became aware of all the new technology (EyeSight & Blind Spot Detection among others) I decided I wanted a new Subaru with all the "bells and whistles." I talked to my former Bertera Subaru Hartford salesperson, told him what I wanted, told him I was ready to purchase, just let me know when a car with my options/color was available and I would be there. That was December 2014 and I never heard from him. When my Outback reached 30K miles, I decided I had waited 4 months to hear from Hartford salesman with no results and made contact with Bertera Subaru of West Springfield. From my initial contact with Nicole (because I used my company's auto buying discount program) to my salesperson Tyler Landry, it has been an awesome experience. First of all is the responsiveness and second is the trust. I put down a $500 deposit which Tyler explained would be refunded to me if I decided not to go through with the deal. He found me my exact car combination in 1 day from an upcoming shipment of cars coming from the factory in Indiana to another dealership. In the interim Tyler kept me updated and we discussed (and negotiated) on trade-in value, a further discount on my (already discounted) new car and the anticpated financing . My online credit application was easy to complete. In 30 days my car was delivered and ready for pick-up. The conversation with Tom, the finance person went smoothly with no surprises (except pleasant ones) and both Tom and Tyler spent time reviewing the add-on programs I might be interested in. At no time did I feel pressured and the whole experience was much less stressful then the last couple of cars I had purchased. My salesperson at Bertera Hartford lost out on a chance to have a repeat customer, but it was definitely my win getting to work with Tyler on this buying experience. I would definitely recommend Bertera Subaru of West Springfield and be sure to ask for Tyler for a great buying and customer service experience. More
