The cars that we were to look at were not there and when I asked to see them I was steered toward looking at something entirely different. When I called him on it, he was vague and rude. I pressed him on it and he finally said the cars weren't there anymore. Then he argued about when I was supposed to be there. I received a call on Thursday to confirm a Saturday 1:00 appt. and he said that if I had come on Friday like I said then the cars would have been there. He was a jerk and he didn't make a sale with us. We went to Steve Lewis Subaru and had a great experience and bought a car that day. More
Shopping for a Subaru Forester I went to Bertera Subaru to look around for a used Forester. Their prices on the internet for Black Friday weekend were showing up less than other dea I went to Bertera Subaru to look around for a used Forester. Their prices on the internet for Black Friday weekend were showing up less than other dealers in the area and I wanted to see if they actually were true. I had already made a deposit on a slightly used car (2016) at another dealer. I was introduced to Joe Bucko. He had a similar car on the lot but he then told me they were doing a sale on 2017 cars that weekend and when he told me the price, it was several hundred dollars less than the 2016 I already put a deposit on. We picked out the color from a car on the lot and I was about to order one for delivery when he offered a break on the new one in the lot with extra accessories for the same price. How could I say no. I did purchase the 100K warranty which I think is worth it for a new car and the maintenance program for $970. When I went back to get the car ( Joe got the car registered and plates on), I decided to cancel the maintenance program due to another review and they were very amenable to this. However, after I found out that it covers an extensive 30K check up and not just oil changes, I decided to keep it. Joe went out of his way to make things easy for me. I had to come back because the engine light had gone on and then next day it went off and he was helpful and ready to get me into the service area quickly. Great guy. All in all, this has been a very good experience for me as I am not one to buy a new car. Also, Subaru sends you a very nice leather travel bag for purchasing a new car. That was cool. More

Great experience working with Keith Goldsmith I started my search for a vehicle in May 2016 knowing that I needed something which better suited my needs after driving my car for 14 years and I lov I started my search for a vehicle in May 2016 knowing that I needed something which better suited my needs after driving my car for 14 years and I loved it. Subaru of West Springfield was my first stop and met with Keith Goldsmith at that time. He listened to me speak about what I wanted in a vehicle. He also knew just starting to look as I had other crossovers I wanted to look at and what features they offered. Keith showed me a few, went over booklets and spent a lot of time explaining Subarus and their features and was able to answer all questions asked on the spot. Off I went and throughout the summer went to other dealerships to see what they had to offer, Keith kept in touch throughout all of this and kept me posted and always asked if I had any questions and how was my search going. This was appreciated as he was not pushy and he knew I was researching. Towards the end of my search went back to Keith and test drove a few vehicles as narrowing down my search. Then Visited dealerships again that I narrowed down . Was down to 2 then stopped at another dealership and that replaced # 2 so now down to a Subaru and another vehicle. Went back again to see Keith worked out some more questions and possible pricing and 2 features of the competition did not satisfy my needs. So after all this Subaru Forrester was the one. Throughout all of this Keith was great as he said he too wanted me to be happy with what I purchased. I am sure his professionalism throughout all of this also influenced my decision. So persistence and patience on both sides won out. Keith has been great before, during and after the sale and also following up to see how everything is going with the vehicle. He also made sure he zeroed in on his customer and my wants and needs throughout this process. Keith is a great asset to your company. On a more personal note this process took me a lot longer than I thought ( May thru October) and mostly because of the awful hot summer as I did not feel like standing on hot car lots looking at vehicles. This is where you want to go for a car I had never bought a car from a dealer before and I was a bit overwhelmed and nervous. The staff here made everything easy and much less scary. They worked with my not so great credit score and used my old car as my down payment. I was treated great, felt no pressure and dealt with a salesperson who was great at helping me find the perfect car for me and my little family. The best part is that they offer help online so I was able to do a large amount of car searching/buying without leaving my office!! As a single mom struggling with so much else in the world it was refreshing to feel relaxed during the process and to be treated with respect. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone in need of a car! More
Horrible. Dishonest. No knowledge of customer service or job Where do I begin. The list is so long!! Last April I went in for an oil change and recommended service. Wanting to keep my tires for life status good, Where do I begin. The list is so long!! Last April I went in for an oil change and recommended service. Wanting to keep my tires for life status good, I came here b/c I couldn't get in to Hartford Betera. They assured me I would still qualify as long as I had my paperwork and had the services in at the right times. I had. So that day in April I go in to be told their computers were down (I was 1st appt of the day) but that they were working on it. I was quoted 2 hours. I chose to wait it out. The waiting room filled up, as to be expected, with 4 other people. To my surprise, all 4 people came and went ( aren't the computers down?) In a decent amt. of time. In comes the 2nd wave and the same hsppens. As my 2 hrs nears, the service woman comes up and tells me that ALL COMPUTERS ARE DOWN!!and that it would be another hour. Fast forward to end of hour 3, SAME STORY!! When I questioned her about the other people, she stumbled through her answer. Total time spent in that waiting room-5 HOURS!!! Carlos said he would offer free service at next oil change for my troubles. Guess what. No recollection of that offer. To boot, tires for life denied because service wasn't done exclusively in W. Springfield location (Hartford said it didn't matter. I qualified after Hartford did the legwork Carlos was obviously too dumb to figure out). My car was left in lot, out front and not in a parking space, UNLOCKED. Run as fast as you can away from this place!! More

It's was my very first car and I had only had my license for a week. I was very nervous about driving and he catered to needs and ensured I was still able to test drive the car in a suitable environment. He took the time to educate me on all the unique features of my car. I ended up leaving with a car that I love and I know I'll return when it's time for a change . :) More
