Kaitlyn, a new member of the sales team, was WONDERFUL. I don't enjoy the process of buying a new or used car from a dealership, but I must say, Kaitlyn made it much less stressful and problematic than I ex I don't enjoy the process of buying a new or used car from a dealership, but I must say, Kaitlyn made it much less stressful and problematic than I expected. She seemed sincerely concerned I would get the vehicle I wanted and did a lot of homework for me over the phone even before I arrived at the dealership. She took her time to explain all the controls in the car and told me to call her personally if I didn't remember something or had follow-up questions after I took the vehicle home. Bertera should be PROUD of their recent hire. By the way, Kaitlyn should not be the only female on the sales floor. Most of us women enjoy dealing with other women in business. I have been a busy professional for almost 35 years following grad school. We need more women in traditionally male-dominated careers. You go, Kaitlyn. She really knows Subarus. If you're buying a used Subaru in my experience they don't explain all the options in the car very well. I worked with Anthony initially. They first used Outback made a unusual noise on the highway. They tried a few options and in the end ended up putting new tires on it which I really appreciated even though I didn't send up purchasing the car. Anthony was very patient since I changed my mind. I ended up wanting a 2015 Outback with Eyesight and Navigation. For a new leased car they did a much better job of explaining the cars features. They did not do a great job of explaining all of the Starlink subscription options so I was misled into buying a Starlink safety subscription then found out later I get it free for 12 months and am still eligible for the promo pricing for 6 mos. In the end the 800 number refunded my $ and I was happy. I left a message for the finance mgr about my registration refund on my trade in, never got a callback. Once you buy a car the customer service seems to drop off. Nick Gaetano was excellent to work with even though he was just stepping in for Anthony who was out of the office. Anthony was good and very patient. Chris and Tim in sales were excellent to work with. I got a good price on my trade in but somehow I think they made up for it in the new car lease. Overall a good experience but could use some improvements here and there. More

My wife arrived to sign documents and the finance manager speed her up so much, coeracing my wife to sign for 429 a month. I called back and was passed onto the sales manager who took over the case. All I wanted is to go down to the agreed price and they refused. They settled to pay out 200 dollars for there mistake, they never excepted there mistake and worked with me to bring my payment to the agreed price of 410 dollars a month. I know we are small on the toteem pole but they are wrong. You be the judge is this wrong or right! My wife is wrong to have signed, and they stuck to there mistake and never held to there word. Leason learned. They lost my business even if It was the second time I purchased from this dealership. Oh and the sales manager Oneil McDonald laughed at me over the phone when I told him this wasn't fair. I was called again by the General Sales Manager Chris Piteo who was exceptional! He reviewed our case and offered us a deal that I couldn't refuse. Thanks so much Chris Piteo a man of integrity. We are very happy with the results and would return again. More

Joe was the worst sales rep Joe is the worst sales rep I've ever worked with in a while. He didnt seem to really want to help me and made it a negative experience for me througho Joe is the worst sales rep I've ever worked with in a while. He didnt seem to really want to help me and made it a negative experience for me throughout the whole time I was there. All I wanted was options on getting into a new car for myself and he didn't seem to have any options available for me. Every time I asked him a question about price or a rough estimate he couldn't bring himself to give me an answer. Joe kept walking away and then coming back with the same answers. I would have liked it if he tried to work with me on my needs and stop beating around the bush. I had a friend that came to this same dealership last year who told me they had a horrible experience here but I wanted to keep an open mind and give it a chance, unfortunately Joe ruined that for me. The day before I went to Suburban Subaru and had a great experience so I'm not sure why it's any different here. All I ask is that next time they put the customer first and present actual options. More

He is thoughtful, honest, and I never felt like I was trying to be tricked or sold on anything. I bought a CPO 2016 Subaru Legacy and they got it ready for me in under a week. On top, they gave me a remote start, detailed it, and put a gloss finish on the paint, all in under a week. Then, I really needed the car for a trip up to my lakehouse on a Friday, and they sent two people to register the car in MA, and they literally delivered the car to my residence in MA, which is 90 miles away. I love the car, I thought I got a good deal, and the experience overrall was way better than I expected. Most people told me buying a car is stressful. This wasn't. Part of it is that I knew the exact car I wanted, but even so everyone at the dealership was happy to answer ALL of my questions, they were responsive, and executed it through all the way to delivering it to my home. I would recommend Paul Kapij and Bertera Motors in Hartford CT!! Also, know that this review is being written from someone who demands excellence, pays attention to every last detail, and asks a lot of questions. More
