I WENT TO A DEALERSHIP IN CHESHIRE MASS BEDARD BROS. LOOKING FOR A NEW LIBERTY WITH A WARRANTY AS IM SINGLE AND NOT A MECHANIC. MY VEHICLE I HAD WAS A USED PURCHASE AND I WASNT CRAZY ABOUT IT AFTER I PU LOOKING FOR A NEW LIBERTY WITH A WARRANTY AS IM SINGLE AND NOT A MECHANIC. MY VEHICLE I HAD WAS A USED PURCHASE AND I WASNT CRAZY ABOUT IT AFTER I PURCHASED IT. I HAD A LARGE ROLL OVER AND THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A JOKE AND DIDNT TRY FOR ME. I LEFT DISCOURAGED AND DISSAPOINTED AFTER THE NEXT DAY I HAD TO CALL THEM AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS DECLINED. AGAIN THEY DIDNT EVEN WANT TO WORK WITH ME. I WAS HEADING TO W SPRINGFIELD TO BUY UNIFORMS AND BEFORE MY HOUR TRIP I CHECKED MY MAIL AND HAD 3 FLYERS FROM DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS. I CALLED THE NUMBER FOR BERTERA INTERNET SALES AND SPOKE WITH KEVIN HE ASKED WHEN I COULD COME IN AND I TOLD HIM WHEN, HE SAID HE'D HAVE THE PAPER WORK READY FOR ME AND WAITING. WHEN I ARRIVED IN LESS THAN A MINUTE AFTER WALKING THROUGH THE DOOR HE HANDED ME IN THE HANDS OF DAN FARIA. I WASNT GOING TO GET MY HOPES UP AS TO MY LAST EXPERIENCE. DAN SAID HE WOULD DO ALL HE COULD TO GET ME IN MY LIBERTY AND HE DID. I ARRIVED AT APPROX 1210 AND DEPARTED IN MY NEW JEEP BY 430 AND I HONKED MY HORN ON MY WAY OUT. CYNTHIA IN THE BANKING DEPT GREETED ME TO UPDATE ME ON THE PROCESS AND WORKED HARD AND TOLD ME SHE WOULD HAVE ME DRIVEING IN MY NEW JEEP TODAY AND SHE DID. I LEFT WITH THE BIGGEST SMILE AND EXCITED. I LOVE MY JEEP AND FEEL EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WAS WORKING THAT DAY SAID HI, DID SOMETHING FOR ME AND WERE GREAT. I ONLY RECCOMEND THAT THEY PUT A SNACK MACHINE IN AS I WAS HUNGRY AND MY SUGAR WAS GETTING LOW, A SALESMAN HAD PEANUT M&MS AND SHARED THEM WITH ME WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR SOME AND EXPLAINED WHY. HE SHOWED ME TO A SNACK MACHINE IN THE GARAGE AND I WAS GRATEFUL, ANOTHER SALESMAN GOT ME SOME MOTRIN AS I WAS GETTING A HEADACHE AND SAVED ME FROM A MIGRAINE. EVERYONE WAS GREAT AND I AM RECOMMENDING ANYONE I KNOW WHO WANTS A NEW VEHICLE TO GO TO W SPRINGFIELD. I WILL DO A VICTORY LAP AT BEDARD BROS AT SOME POINT WITH A BERTERA BANNER OR SOMETHING WITH BERTERA TO LET THEM KNOW THE JOKE IS NOW ON THEM, AND I DIDNT APPRECIATE THEIR NEGATIVITY. More

The way I received my new Jeep Grand Cherokee was POOR at best. -Brake and power steering fluids were below "Topped off levels". I had to add antifreeze. There were deep paint scratches on the drivers side door frame, as if someone had sand on the soles of their shoes and stepped on the the painted surface and rotated their feet. The weep holes in each door were taped over. If not removed would have caused premature rusting on the bottom of the doors. More
The worst experience I have ever had in purchasing a new car. They offered less than promised on the trade value, tried to upsell to a higher interest rate, werent capable of prepping the car, didnt deliver car. They are snarky, slimy, and fit the stereotypical used car salesman image. I will never, ever go to Bertera for anything. Even the interest rate was crazy - tried to convince me 4.375% was almost the same as the 1.9% I came in with from my own bank. These guys are the real deal - true dirtbags More

He was persistent without being offensive, and never misled me about what my options were. When I finally decided to order a vehicle from the factory to get exactly what we wanted, John was friendly, professional and proficient in "making the deal". I walked into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted, and we were able to close the deal in less than 20 minutes! 1) Price on the new car was great. 2) Price on my trade-in was OK but not great. 3) No nonsense approach by John and the F&I guy (Aubry??) was greatly appreciated. November 14, 2011 Attention: Service Manager James Marinaccio Bertera Auto 539 Riverdale Street West Springfield MA 01089 Dear Mr. Marinaccio, I hope you can straighten out the following situation. On September 28 my son and I drove an hour to your service department because of its high ratings on the Internet. We dealt with Dave French, who diagnosed and then agreed that the navigation system of my son’s 2007 Compass needed to be replaced. Two weeks later we had not heard from Mr. French. It seems he doesn’t check his email, even though it is printed on the business card, and thus had not responded to our request for an update on whether the ordered parts had arrived. It turns out that the parts had arrived but we had not been contacted. When my son went to Springfield in October to have the navigation system replaced, Mr. French discovered that the part which had arrived two weeks before was incorrect and needed to be returned, thus making this trip a needless waste of time and gas. However, Mr. French convinced my son that he should nevertheless pay for and take the Mopar accessory we had also ordered to connect an MP3 player to the system. Given these circumstances, I was glad to see that we were charged $20 to affix license plates to the vehicle. We finally went to another Jeep dealer where the navigation system was replaced without incident. There we were told that the MP3 connector was also incorrect. I am returning it herewith, including the receipt. I expect to have full credit of $138 plus tax returned to the credit card which is on the receipt, or a check for that amount sent to me at the address below.
