Back in 10/2010, I was in a situation with no car trade in, no money down, disabled and unemployed. I was able to get a car which i am grateful, but unfortunately the only financing I could get was through in, no money down, disabled and unemployed. I was able to get a car which i am grateful, but unfortunately the only financing I could get was through Chase Morgan at 21.5% interest rate. I was helpless, and was told I could refinance in a year, which was not true. Chase Auto financing had no consideration for my financial predicament an I was refused in 2011 and 2012. I was stuck with a car whose current Payoff balance is more than the car is worth. The car when driven off the lot, the head casket blew and it took 3 weeks to fix. I thought I got a lemon, and Bertera refused to release me from the contract or give me a different car. I was so angry. The car was fixed on Nov. 4, 3 weeks after purchase. I tried several times in the 2 years to get a car that I wanted, I was turned down each time at Bertera, and so many other dealerships. During the week of Jan 7, 2013, I got a call from Bertera and was told there was a possibility of getting a better car- Cruze or Volt. I spent almost an hour there on 1/10/2013, trying not to get my hopes up but Carl seemed kind of optimistic when I left. 1/11-15/2013 I heard nothing from Carl despite phone calls, voice mail. So I called on 1/15 and told I could not talk to Carl, so I asked if I can speak to someone else in finance. Well they switched me to a salesman Brian, who was extremely rude and curt that something appeared on my credit report that I knew nothing about, and there would be no new financing or car. Brian was abrupt and I felt so angry over a situation I had no control over. Carl did not have the decency to reply to me with bad news. Now I am still stuck with a car that I do not like, and cannot refinance nor trade in with an outrageous interest rate of 21.5% that I can do nothing about. It is very depressing to be elderly, disabled, unemployed and poor. Very little help from Bertera back in 10/10, and sort of berated over a black mark on my credit report that I knew nothing about, and there was extenuating circumstances that no one at Bertera wanted to hear. Bad credit=no new financing, no hope, felt degraded! More
I found almost everything at Bertera Chevy to be excellent. The only area I think could be improved, and it's a minor issue, would be the communication between the dealer and customer. I was looking excellent. The only area I think could be improved, and it's a minor issue, would be the communication between the dealer and customer. I was looking for a specific model Colorado and it took a bit of time to track down the vehicle I wanted. I wish they had kept me more informed about the search. More
Words can't express how thankful I'm to Brian Hall. He went above and beyond to get me approved for a car. It all started with Bob Canning and than Brian Hall. No dealership in Mass can beat what Bertera went above and beyond to get me approved for a car. It all started with Bob Canning and than Brian Hall. No dealership in Mass can beat what Bertera Chevy is doing out there for customers who are desperately in need of a help. I'm a living witness to that. Got a practically brand new car. They treat you with respect regardless of your credit score and don't make you feel like worthless as other dealership does. Bertera, please keep up the good work u're doing for people out there. Thanks Brian Hall, Bob Canning and Bertera Chevy for what you have done for me. I really do appreciate it. More
We purchased a car from this dealership a little over two years ago and were pleased with the customer service, the vehicle, and the price of the vehicle . Therefore, we did not hesitate to return a few two years ago and were pleased with the customer service, the vehicle, and the price of the vehicle . Therefore, we did not hesitate to return a few days ago after receiving a phone call offering several "Black Friday" incentives such as a $500.00gift card, a buy back of our previous vehicle for what we owed on it, and the first two months of the new car payment covered. None of this happned. For starters, We were at the dealership for over six hours with an extrememly hungover employee who continuously complained to us about how awful he felt, how the management had screamed at him upon arrival due to his state, and how the last thing he wanted to do was be around people. After several attemps to get our paperwork in order, he sent it to an internal finance expert who said our proposal would more than likely be approved by the banks and we could have a new car with the incentives by the end of the day. We put a $500.00 deposit on the car which they said would hold the car and waited for their call. It never came. When we spoke with Dan later in the day, we had to explain I great detail who we were and which car we were trying to purchase as he had no recollection. Dan said that the banks were being slow with everyone and that the transaction would probably take place the next day...in which case all incentives were off. He then also asked us to put more money down. We are absolutely appalled and disappointed Witt this dealership and will never buy a vehicle from them again the future. When you think slimy car dealer/dealership, this is the poster place. Do not waste your time. More

I had my 2011 Avalanche as a trade, and previously owned a 2008 Avalanche. I love these trucks, and have had very good experiences with all of them. My salesmen, Brian and Scott, were great, and I knew from the start I would have to order my vehicle, since the color Fairway Green was brand new, and in addition to that, I wanted the interior in the Tan rather than Ebony. As we discussed the deal and the price, Brian was kind enough to point out the possibility of utilizing some little known but important rebates to reduce the cost of the vehicle. As well, he mentioned the $2000 Chevrolet truck rebate due to expire on Oct 31, 2012. Now, since this was Sept. 21, 2012, I didn't think there was a chance of receiving an ordered vehicle in such a short period of time. Scott and Brian both assured me this was possible, even probable, and were willing to assure me that even if the truck did not arrive by Oct. 31st, they would honor the agreed price. You could not ask for more than that! I received an excellent price on the 2011 Avalanche trade in, and made the deal. Imagine my surprise (and pleasure!) when Brian called on Oct. 25th and said the truck was on the way! As promised, on Oct 31st, I paid for the new truck, turned in my old Avalanche, and drove off in the nicest truck I have ever owned! The color is gorgeous, the truck (with 500 miles on it as of Nov. 21st) performs flawlessly and both salesmen could not have been more professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with! Thank you, Brian and Scott! More
My Salesman Brian Hall went above and beyond to ensure that not only was I finding the vehicle I wanted but that I had the most pleasant and worry free experience purchasing my Chevy Tahoe. Without him I that not only was I finding the vehicle I wanted but that I had the most pleasant and worry free experience purchasing my Chevy Tahoe. Without him I wouldn't have found my Dream Vehicle, and certainly wouldn't have been able to drive it off the lot that first day. He visited me at work (25+ miles from the Bertera Dealership)to accommodate my schedule and made sure I had transportation provided while getting my car completely checked and detailed upon purchase. I'm now blessed with a safe and reliable vehicle to make the Move back to my home-state of Michigan. I wish he, and Bertera were there to welcome me! Thank You for Everything Brian! More
I bought my 2009 GrandCaravan at this dealership back in 2010. I have been faithful in bringing the van in for service because I liked the idea of free tires for life. Throughout this process I realized tha 2010. I have been faithful in bringing the van in for service because I liked the idea of free tires for life. Throughout this process I realized that this was just a gimmick a way to bully people into bringing their vehicles in to be serviced only by them. My tires are worn down and now I am forced to buy tires on my own. The reason that I was denied the new tires was because sopposedly I missed two tire rotations, later I was told that qualify because I missed two interval oil changes, when in actuality I missed one. I found my records which showed that I had only missed one. Due to that one time miss my claim was denied. I am not very happy because as I stated earlier I thought I was a loyal customer, even though everytime I went in for service I felt like I was being nickeled dimmed with oh you car needs this service and that service. I also would like to add that I get emails with incentives to bring my vehicle in for services with discounts. When I brought those discounts in, I was told that because my vehicle was not a GMC vehicle it could not be honored. This has been a horrible experience for me and I would not recommend Bertera services or this dealership in PARTICULAR to any of my friends, co-workers or family. I plan to go the BBB to file a complaint against your gimmicks. More
I had been corresponding with a few people at Betera Chevrolet before I actually visited the dealership. There was a group email from Kevin, Jill John and Andrew, John Lewis sent me trucks, Cynthia sent Chevrolet before I actually visited the dealership. There was a group email from Kevin, Jill John and Andrew, John Lewis sent me trucks, Cynthia sent me trucks, everyone was sending me truck photos. I was pumped up! Finally, a dealership that appreciates a nice small truck. I truly appreciated the attention I received from Johnny Graniela in sales. I came to Betera on my way back from South Egremont. He knew I had to travel, and got me on my way within an hour. I had seen three vehicles within that hour. I had seen the truck I wanted among those three vehicles by the time the test driving was finished. I had even put a deposit down. Great job Johnny. Thank you so much for your time. I loved that Dodge Dakota 4x4. More
Initially my experience with this dealership was great but as some time passed, it went sour. I bout a used vehicle from this dealership which would make it the newest vehicle I've ever owned. Although u but as some time passed, it went sour. I bout a used vehicle from this dealership which would make it the newest vehicle I've ever owned. Although used cars aren't expected to be perfect, I would expect the dealership to cover the basics. When I picked the vehicle up to take it home, the Onstar wasn't working even before I left the dealership. I was told to take it and try to get it working later and call if I couldn't get it going. Coming from an hour away, this didn't seem like a bad idea. I also realized after driving it for a few days that the neither power outlets (cigarette lighters) worked and my right hand signal would not turn off after taking a right hand turn. I called the dealership to make them aware. When I eventually called to make an appointment to bring it in, the appointment was made before my warranty was up but the earliest appointment available was after my warranty was up. Upon showing up for the appointment, I was told I would have t pay for any repairs and at best there would be a $100 deductable for them to fix anything. I was also told I could bring it to any Bertera dealership to get it serviced but was not told that that didn't cover warranty issues. So the Betera dealership 2 minutes away from my job was out of the question so I had to drive a hour back to Palmer, MA just to find out they weren't going to repair the things that were wrong when they gave me the vehicle. Additionally, I made the mistake of signing a GAP Addendum at the time of puchase. You can terminate this agreement at any time for all or a portion of your money back but after contacting the dealership by phone and letter, nobody has gotten back to me to terminate this. Buying this vehicle was my first major purchase and although I like my vehicle, I learned some not so desireable lessons. Thanks alot Bertera. More

I can honestly say that Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia at Bertera Chevrolet made complete gratitude to the extraordinary team at Bertera Chevrolet. I can honestly say that Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia at Bertera Chevrolet made one of my dreams come true. Since I was 16 years old, I've always wanted a Black Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I'm now 33 years old and because of Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia, my dream has come true. I found the EXACT Jeep that I wanted at Bertera. I called the dealership on a Wednesday. And 48 hrs later, I drove off of the lot with my dream Jeep in tears of joy. The entire experience was incredible. They listened to my every need, treated me with profound professionalism, provided me with the financing needed and did everything they possibly could to ensure that I dove off of the of lot in the shortest amount of time - and with the exact car that I wanted. I live 1.5 hrs away and they even provided me with complimentary transportation until the sale was finalized. Most importantly, they understood precisely what having this Jeep meant to me and they did whatever it took to make it happen. I really can't thank Jay, Marc, Andy and Cynthia enough.
