happy Barbara was wonderful to work with through this process. She was very knowledgable as well as understanding and supportive to my process and my goals. I never felt "managed" in a bad way but thoroughly supported. She doesn't have any of the "in your face" sales approach that can make a trip to a dealer a nightmare. She felt like a "buyers agent"..consulting and helping me to think through what was most important to me as I consider two separate cars. At the time of delivery of my new car, Barbara spent as much time as it took to ensure I was thoroughly trained on ALL of the wonderful features of it...and since my car was fully load...there were many! I would be happy to buy a car from and recommend Barbara and Volvo of wellesley to anyone. More

These guys leave other dealerships in the dust! I spoke with Alfonso Romano one morning and told him what we had been thru. He was very professional & understanding and told me that he would hold a car until I got there to look at it. And as promised, it was there waiting for me and had a hold sign with my name on it. Paul Tallino accompanied me on the test drive. He was knowledgable about the vehicle and didn't put any pressure on me about buying it. Vadzim Kelly assisted us with the payment process. He was polite and explained everything thoroughly. We were very pleased with our experience at Volvo of Wellesley and look forward to doing business with them in the future. Thank you for treating us like people, not a price tag. More

Found myself dissatisfied with the tires on my vehicle and chose to change them. Needed a knowledgeable person to help and didn't want pressure. My experience there was fantastic at time of sale, so I called. Carlos, in particular, was really helpful. Totally happy with my purchase. Completely changed how my car drives and he helped me choose a tire that really performed best in the areas that mattered to me. Awesome. More

Since I live about an hour away from the dealer, I wanted to try and negotiate a deal with my trade over the phone before I made the drive..... I spoke to Al and we worked out a fair price very easily. (It was pending seeing the trade in person of course.) When I arrived, both cars were as advertised and we closed the deal exactly as promised. Al, Robert, and Steve were very friendly guys, with absolutely no pressure sales tactics. Just honest, great people. This is a great place to buy a car! More
Highly recommend Barbara real down to earth person!! Barabra Goodman was a real breath of fresh air. I have not purchased many vehicles nor do I enjoy the process of buying a car. To be honest who does Barabra Goodman was a real breath of fresh air. I have not purchased many vehicles nor do I enjoy the process of buying a car. To be honest who does. But I consider myself a good judge of character. Sure every sales person has a corporate line. But what made my buying experience at Volvo of Wellesley great was Barabra! She is genuine and a person I enjoyed taking a nice fall drive with. At one point she made the comment "now isn't this nice". I replied "Yes this car is very nice". To which she replied "No I mean the scenery". lol. If your looking to buy a car and not feel pressured, rushed or intimidated go see my friend Barabra. More

Their response was prompt, courteous and instantly assured me that I was working with professionals. Vadim Kelly, Sales Manager, and Barbara Goodman, my sales associate, were fantastic. No pressure, no silly sales pitches, just a great all around experience. They knew the brand, the vehicle and made me comfortable at all times. I feel good about the process, feel like I got a great deal, and genuinely liked everyone I met. And I can't say that about every other car I've purchased! More
Update to previous review Update to prior review: All it took was making a formal complaint to Volvo America to get the attention of this dealership. it didn't have to get Update to prior review: All it took was making a formal complaint to Volvo America to get the attention of this dealership. it didn't have to get to this point of aggravation, but I was pleasantly surprised with the response and attention from Marcus Kingsbury. This all occurred within a day or so after reaching out to Volvo corporation customer service. He called me, apologized and took ownership of his dealerships' mistakes. Although I was hesitant to do any more dealings with them he convinced me to allow then to pick up my car from my home and bring me a loaner. He oversaw a senior mechanic as they redid the 30,000 mile service. He also made things right by me by detailing the vehicle, giving us winter floormats and even offerred us a complimentary 40,000 mile service. All of the above was a surprise to me as it was explained and documented when my car was returned to me that same afternoon. I still can't forgive nor highly recommend this dealership's maintenance department, but I do recommend that you request Marcus if you have any problems like I did. ----- Wow just wow! The service department here is a complete joke and Volvo should be ashamed to be associated with Volvo of Wellesley. I brought my 2013 Volvo XC60 for it's 30k service a few weeks ago. This was my second time bringing the car here, but will definitely be my last. During the 20k I had asked them to fix my backup camera which was jumpy and not working properly. Believe it or not the camera actually got 10 times worse after they touched it. In fact I was receiving the BLUE SCREEN of death when trying to use my backup camera. Cut to I have (or I think I have) the 30k service done along with a request to fix the still broken camera. I am given a disgustingly filthy (inside and out) loaner vehicle after dropping my off car. Not only did it badly need a car wash and full detail, it also had faulty brakes that badly needed to be replaced. Can you believe a service department handing you an unkempt Volvo vehicle like this? We're not talking about a $15k KIA I have here. It's a near $40k 1 year old Volvo I am trusting you to fix. Later that afternoon I receive I phone call from the service guy telling me that it would be at least 4-5 days before they receive the needed camera part so he wanted me to drive back the 45 min (same day) to return the loaner and take my car home. I would then need to return again sometime possibly next week. I refused to do so as I had never agreed to make multiple trips for this camera repair. I asked to speak to the manager. Explained the scenario to him. Informed him that I was unhappy with not only the service person and his attitude, but also the pathetic excuse for a loner vehicle that they gave me. I told him that I wanted my car fixed and returned to my home. I refused to return the loaner until that was done. Well the only saving grace was that this manager quickly came up with a solution. He pulled a working camera part out of one of the many other XC60's on their lot. Then had someone drive my car to my place. I was pleased although had already decided that I would not be returning to this service department. Well here's the xxxx kicker! 2 days ago, I am heading out to fill up my car so my wife and daughter can go away for the weekend. Start the ignition and I am immediately greeted by warning signs on the dash informing that I IMMEDIATELY need to SHUT OFF THE ENGINE. I do so and it further warns me that my coolant level is low. This makes zero sense I think out loud as I have just had my 30k service interval where the bare requirement is topping off of all fluids. SO, I call Volvo roadside and arrange to have it towed to Volvo Village in Boston (Allston) the next morning. I am not taking any chances and not putting my family in danger by just simply adding coolant and assuming everything is A-OK. Cut to the next morning. I wake up a 6, spend an hour in a tow truck and I have just dropped off the car with Steve the service manager in Boston. Not 10 minutes go by as he walks up to me in the waiting area and asks me if I have done the 30k service for my vehicle as it is currently at 31500. I say, yes of course, I just had done a few short weeks ago at Volvo of Wellesley. Well he informs me that not only did this pathetic service department in Wellesley NOT top off my coolant fluid... they in fact DID NOT TOP OFF ANY OF MY FLUIDS!!! He also goes on to inform me that this is not the first time he has heard of such complaints about that dealership. So, I ask you what the xxxx did I actually pay for as my included 3yr/36000 mile service plan??? This is everything that is SUPPOSED TO BE DONE from the Maintenance/Warranty Guide on Volvo's website for the 2014 Volvo XC60 at the 30,000 mile interval: Engine oil and filter, replace Engine/Transmission/ Timing gear check for leaks Service Reminder Indicator (SRI), reset Engine Air cleaner (ACL), clean the air cleaner housing/replace filter (engine code 90)3 COOLANT LEVEL/ CHECK ADJUST Power steering fluid level, check/adjust Washer fluid level, check/adjust Check all wiper blades and washers for headlights and windshields for function and signs of wear Clean inside of windshield in front of camera (vehicles with camera for collision warning) Brake fluid level, check & adjust Brake pads/discs, check Wheels and tires, check pressure, wear and condition AM I TO BELIEVE THAT THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT DID ANY OF THE ABOVE? I DOUBT IT. More
