He explained how to bypass the SiriusXM R-DAR replacement Bernardi Volvo, Service: not so helpful. #1: I will be calling you tomorrow (Friday) about the stop/start feature. Your tech identified a failed support battery, and I was told this is why stop/start was not working. After replacing the support battery, stop/start still doesn't work. #2: Your R-DAR replacement cost of $1386 is outrageous, a major expense simply to listen to SiriusXM! SiriusXM is sending me a new radio for free. Although I will have to pay for its installation (not by Volvo), it will not cost me $1386. I will call Volvo about this to complain, but you should not be surprised that I am not inclined to be a repeat customer again for a new Volvo, after 42 years and six Volvos purchased. Slamming the customer with that sort of replacement cost for a satellite radio receiver is unacceptable. More
