Excellent experience! I had an amazing experience with this dealership! My husband and I had been to multiple other dealerships with extremely horrible outcomes. The dealership would always quote a price online and then after we spent hours there, with a young child, they would say they couldn't honor it. We either didn't quality for incentives or not all fees were included yet. Then we started contacting Subaru dealerships online trying to figure out the price for a new Crosstrek. Mid City Subaru gave us the best price and a fully itemized breakdown of what the out the door cost would be, in writing! I Called and spoke with Shane who confirmed the car was there and that the costs were legitimate and set an appointment for us to come in. The next day Luis called and confirmed my appointment and answered all questions I had. We went in that evening and met with Luis who offered us coffee, took us to the car which had been fully prepared and cleaned for us. We went on a test drive and he answered every question we had about the car. We wanted the car and filled out all of the paperwork we could that night. We were offered extras but never had them pushed on us! It was the easiest car buying experience ever! Luis was amazing and made sure we were 100% comfortable with every aspect of the car. He even offered to be the contact person if we need to make service appointments and he contacted us in the first few days to be sure everything was going well with the car! This was the easiest and most professional place to buy a car! More

Listened. Delivered. Made it simple and easy. Walked in the door having done my homework online. I knew there was only so much I could do given my budget. When approached by a no pressure salesperson and explained why I was there and what it would take, he asked for a chance to verify the availability of the vehicle, offered to have it brought around, asked if I'd like to test drive it. After the test drive, he asked if I was ready to negotiate the offer. I explained what it was going to take to work for me. He explained the process he was going to need to follow. If I was patient with him while he handled the process with the dealership, he'd do his best to get me what was going to work for me. I said, "Great. If it works, I'm driving home today. If not, I'd leave appreciating his efforts and continue my search elsewhere." He was fair. I was reasonable. The deal got done quickly and hassle free. Their follow up has been terrific. I'm very happy with the vehicle and how the transaction was conducted. I'm a fan. More

Rob Folks is amazing!!! I walked in to Mid City after being at five other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I knew exactly what I wanted but felt like I was gettin I walked in to Mid City after being at five other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I knew exactly what I wanted but felt like I was getting the run around from those dealerships. On a whim, I went into Mid City and approached Rob. The dealership was rather busy that day, but he was more than willing to talk with me. He was also working with another customer and continued to go back and forth between us, not being pushy or making it seem like I was wasting his time. He understood what I was looking for and gave me a test drive in the legacy. He was very knowledgeable of the car and was able to answer all of my questions. I had some errands to run and had to leave but told him I was coming back in a few hours and would be purchasing the car. I had such a great experience with him I knew I wanted to buy my car from Mid City. When I went back, and towards the end of his shift, he helped negotiate a price I would be comfortable with, found my car at a local dealership and told me he would go get it. A few days later I came back in, traded in a vehicle and walked out with my Legacy. Rob spent time in the lot going over a few main features. That doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I was leaving at night, in the dark, with some inclement weather in Chicago, I greatly appreciated his time and thoughtfulness. I had some concerns about how I was handled during the financing process and emailed Rob the following morning. He set me up with a finance manager that could help me with those concerns. After that meeting, Rob then spent another hour going over every detail of my car with me. I will recommend Rob Folks to my friends and family. More

During the test drives (Subaru Legacy 2.0 & 3.6R; Forester XT) he was extremely knowledgable and was able to successfully demonstrate all of the features and answer my questions thoroughly and with purpose. What I mean is he was able to associate real life examples to where certain features would be good to have or could come in handy. That impressed me, and some of the examples I could really connect with! He was friendly and never made it feel like I was there for a sales interaction, like typical salesman would do. Would highly recommend working with Rob Folks at Mid City Subaru!!! More

The dealership was very busy, but Rob was determined to make sure we were treated like we were the only customers there. He was friendly without crowding us, patient without disappearing on us, knowledgable without being pushy or overselling us, and sincerely friendly and pleasant. Rob didn't over-promise a deal that couldn't be delivered upon once we were in negotiation, so the deal that we felt was fair was the actual deal we got. We've purchased a lot of cars in the past, so we were ready to have to do the whole "dance" again, but Rob kept it all up front and reasonable. After the purchase was complete, the time Rob took to share his knowledge of the car we purchased helped me feel prepared to drive the car off the lot onto the highway at night in rain. Seems like a small thing, until you can't find the defrosters while driving in traffic on 90/94. Rob's follow-through has also been excellent. And he's such a nice guy, that having him check in after the sale has been a pleasure. I'm so glad we were able to work with Rob, and I'd be comfortable sending my family and friends to work with him. Thanks, Rob! More

Awesome I love my Subaru and trust few with it, the staff at Mid City has done that.
