Every trouble light on the dashboard lit up: check engine, eyesight, blind spot, cruise control, stability control, etc. The fault persisted for about 8 hours but disappeared the following day. On 7/24/18 this dealership refused even to try to make any repairs on the pretext that it would not be reimbursed by Subaru unless a fault was constantly detectable. (Several weeks later, a Subaru dealership in Colorado did make a repair based on a TSB describing precisely this type of occurrence.). Berman Subaru flatly refused to honor Subaru’s warranty, dispalying a level of contempt for its customers I have rarely seen equaled, never surpassed. I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. More

If he wasn't around , Charles Morris was just as helpful. Both guys knew their products and are quick to research and get me the parts I need. Jason would always give the best price and also was kind enough to give extra accessories for the job. Thank u guys for going above and beyond in the parts and service department!! More

I specifically asked if the car had anything more than minor scratches/dings, he said no. I asked if it needed anything since I would be driving across the country with it, he said no. I get there and it is riddled with scratches, way more than even my 99 Subaru has, has 2 large scrapes that were clearly doctored in the photos, the power steering is going out, the front brakes needed to be changed 200 miles before, the turbo is on its way out, and best of all the ac did not work. Glenn claimed it worked before but as soon as we got in for a test drive he rolled his window down. They were banking on me buying the car simply because I had flown all that way. I got no apology and had to ask multiple times for my deposit back. More
Subaru Ascent Lou, Jeanette, Joe, Dan, Jake and Glenn are all amazing. In and out under an hour and half. No hassle, signed and drived. Went over all the whistles a Lou, Jeanette, Joe, Dan, Jake and Glenn are all amazing. In and out under an hour and half. No hassle, signed and drived. Went over all the whistles and bells. Everyone soo polite. Love our new Ascent. This is my 3rd Subaru. Will only come to Berman Subaru. See you all at my first maintenance and all other service and accessory install. Thank you all again. Joe is the MAN! I bought my Outback from Joe about a year ago. Very recently I was rear ended so I called Joe again. Joe sent a loaner car to my work the next day. I bought my Outback from Joe about a year ago. Very recently I was rear ended so I called Joe again. Joe sent a loaner car to my work the next day. They drove my car to the shop and got me connected with Angel in their service center right away. Angel called me back with a few other things that were covered under warranty that they fixed that day. The rest was sent to their body shop. I got an estimate that day. I got my car back 4 days later. Everything looks great. Joe and Angel were amazing! Can't say enough about this place. More
Used Vehicle needed thousands to repair I purchased a preowned 2011 Subaru Forester in October 2017 and have incurred several thousand dollars worth of service charges on the vehicle at the I purchased a preowned 2011 Subaru Forester in October 2017 and have incurred several thousand dollars worth of service charges on the vehicle at the dealership in subsequent months (starting with an oil change that was needed in the first month, ignored service checkups, and potentially a complete engine reseal). The service and management team have been unresponsive to my attempts to negotiate repair for issues that I don't feel I should be having in the short ownership timeframe. The vehicle has most recently been in their shop for several weeks awaiting air conditioning repair/testing, and my attempts to discuss resolving the latest issue with the dealership manager Joe D'Andrea and service manager Andrew Hain has met no response. Luckily we have been using a temporary vehicle but would otherwise be without the car we purchased. Do not buy a used vehicle from Berman. More

Diagnosis: MAJOR problems with the Powertrain among other things. It's primarily been in the service department of the local dealership since I bought it....one problem after another.
