I HADNT VISITED A DEALERSHIP IN A WHILE THE LAST TIME I BOUGHT A VEHICLE WAS IN 2005 A TOYOTA COROLLA, I HAD LOTS OF ISSUES WITH THE TOYOTA DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM, AND THEN HAD LOTS OF ISSUE WITH THE S BOUGHT A VEHICLE WAS IN 2005 A TOYOTA COROLLA, I HAD LOTS OF ISSUES WITH THE TOYOTA DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM, AND THEN HAD LOTS OF ISSUE WITH THE SERVICE DEPT WHEN MY TRANS STARTED SLIPPING, SO I WAS SKEPITICAL WHEN I VISITED MID CITY NISSAN, BUT WHEN I VISITED THE STORE FOR THE FIRST TIME THE GENERAL MNGR CHUCK GREETED ME WHEN I ENTERED AND PLACED ME WITH GEORGE THE USED CAR MNGR, WHO MADE SURE I GOT TO DRIVE THE CAR THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND GAVE ME THE PRICE THAT WAS ADVERTISED WITH NO GAMES, THEY LET ME LEAVE THE STORE WITH NO PRESSURE. SO I COULD BRING MY HUSBAND BACK TO MAKE SURE HE WAS OK WITH THE COLOR, NEEDLESS TO SAY GEORGE WAS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH AND THE FINANCE GUY TREATED ME FAIR AND WITH RESPECT, BEST SERVICE I EVER BEEN GIVEN WHILE BUYING A CAR, I WOULDNT BE EMBARRASSED TO SEND A FAMILY MEMBER OR A FRIEND TO MID CITY More
The staff at Mid City Nissan is amazing and I love the service they provide whenever I visit. I usually go see Dalila/Adelita when I need assistance, but if they are not available Shane has helped/assiste service they provide whenever I visit. I usually go see Dalila/Adelita when I need assistance, but if they are not available Shane has helped/assisted. Overall all the staff if good, but Dalila, Adelita and Shane are my number 1'S. My last visit was due to my seatbelt not working. I was involved in a car accident and after my car was fixed by the shop, Nissan had me take the car into their Service Center so that they can make sure the car was in Excellent condition. Great Job Mid City Nissan!!!!!! More
Service dept was very RUDE and they don't take the time to answer your questions. I got my bill and asked a couple questions about the repairs and they couldn't answer them. Adelita could not have been more pleasant. very knowledgeable about the product (maxima) and as I live far away,she arranged for my first service visit to be in and out quickly. My experience at Mid City Nissan was an amazing one. I have purchased/leased with them for a couple of years now. I have purchased a Nissan Titan and currently am leasing a Nissan Altima as well as a Path have purchased/leased with them for a couple of years now. I have purchased a Nissan Titan and currently am leasing a Nissan Altima as well as a Pathfinder. The customer Service is great! The staff is friendly and make you feel like family when you are there. I recommend Mid City Nissan to everyone that is in the market for a new or used vehicle. My 1 year old car broken (8000 miles).They were not able to tell me what was broken and why. But they charged me $1100. Listen to this: Your car got broken because you did not have warranty! Plus they charged me for time I knew they did not work on my car. They worked max. 4 hours and I had to pay for 5. Btw. $120/hr! They just take an advantage of everybody. I have been there twice and it has been twice disaster. We work hard to buy Nissan cars. They should appreciate that and treat us the way we are. The Nissan customers. I was told these guys were really really dishonest and shady, but I had to drop off a tow and had no choice. I will never go here again, and I will actively protest others going here as well. I bought a used 2008 Xterra from them. The service light was on when I test drove it so I took it to an independent mechanic to look at the car before I bought it. He said the car was in good shape but he was on when I test drove it so I took it to an independent mechanic to look at the car before I bought it. He said the car was in good shape but he described the service light issue as an emissions problem and said that the dealer should fix it as it is covered by the warranty. The dealer agreed to fix it but it was clear that they didn't want to. The next day they called me and said that fixed it and it was only due to a loose gas cap. I didn't believe them and the service light came back on the next day and I could smell gas fumes in the car. I took the car to a different Nissan dealer and they noted that there have been a number of problems with the EVAP system in this car that didn't show up on the CARFAX report. Mid-City knew about this problem but failed to either disclose the history to me or to fix the problem. The other dealer that I took it to afterwards fixed the emission system and it has been fine so far. I found Mid-City extremely evasive and dishonest about everything. My car hadn't even been cleaned out properly as I found Coke bottles undearneath the seats and garbage in the glove box when I drove it home. The service team was rude when I called back about the service light issue. I will never go back there. Do yourself a favor and don't buy or service a car at Mid-City. More
I will try to sum up my experience for a 2009 Nissan Xterra SE with the following quote "Let me ask you something, why does it (the monthly payment I would be paying) matter if it's just a tax right off Xterra SE with the following quote "Let me ask you something, why does it (the monthly payment I would be paying) matter if it's just a tax right off." Why?!? Because I work hard for my money and I don't have a sign on my head that says I'm a complete idiot. Trying to charge me a ridiculous price ($750.00 per month) for a NISSAN XTERRA -- with that money I could have bought a car with more far more prestige and character. He also called my credit score a "2nd tier." After researching the fact, my credit score is considered excellent. These people do not have a basic understanding of how to attract and/or retain a legitimate customer. More
Shane sold us a 2008 Nissan Rogue. He is a crook, and the dealership does terrible work. Do not buy a car from here! 1) Before we drove off the lot, the car had a 10" scratch on the quarter panel. It looked terribile. 2) Shane told us that we needed to handle all add'l parts with the parts dept - He couldn't handle it even though we asked for the roofrack at point of sale. 3) They don't communicate between sales, parts & serivice depts - even though they are in the same building. 4) Shane told us they give loaners for all work. NO - they make you wait for Enterprize Rent-a-car for pick up & drop off. No rental charge, but Chicago tax and insurance YOU have to pay for. 5) You are just a number at this dealership and no one that works there has any sort of pride in their work. I can't wait to get my survey from corporate. More
