When I began asking around for dealership suggestions, Berman Nissan of Chicago came up repeatedly. My husband and I came in to take a look and had the fortune of being taken care of by Ernesto. He asked me what I was looking for in a car and began to narrow down some options for me. We walked through the lot and he was extremely knowledgeable on the inventory. I explained to him that I had challenging credit. He offered to run scenarios with co-signers for me, more than I thought he would. His manager Chuck even helped out to try and work something out for me to be able to make a purchase. However, I didn't have my co-signer that day and needed to come back. Ernesto and I went back and forth about scenarios and payments for two days, the time it took me to bring in a co-signer. In all of this, he met about half my family. Everyone loved how caring and real he was with us in regards to payments and benefits of different options. I ended up purchasing a 2017 Nissan Rogue with a 0% interest. I never had the intention of buying a new car, in part because I didn't think I would qualify. I'm about a month out from buying it and the car is amazing. As someone who drives for 90% of their job, I wouldn't be in any other car. I have no regrets because of how satisfied I am with my Nissan Rogue. It's completely worth it. Ernesto was able to establish that relationship where I felt that he was genuinely invested in getting me the best deal possible. I lucked out with Ernesto at Berman. I'm hoping he's still there in a year when my husband is planning on a new car as well. More
