I only came to look, but ended up driving it home thanks to Ashton seeing the love affair II had for the car.....it took some very fancy and total determination on his part to see that this car and myself were to be a match made in heaven just like my spouse and I, who ended up buying it for me. She and Aston played with numbers for quite some time, they shook hands, and now I'm the proud owner of the most beautiful sportscar on the road, and by the way, I'm 80 years old. The next day Ashton made a follow up call to make sure everything was satisfactory with my new roadster...I suggest anyone wanting to buy a car from tis dealer, ask for Ashton, you will get a salesman that will do anything he can to satisfy your shopping experience.........thanks again Ashton...I love this car..... Walking into my 3rd Nissan dealership due to the lack of stock I walked into Berman thinking I was going to get the same bad answer "No but we have this instead". I am looking around and I didn't see that many cars in the building so then I am about to walk out when someone says to me " Can I get you a drink on the way out so I can tell them at least you left with a drink!" I am all in for ball busting time but you gotta hang to bust with the best and that some one is Steve Torres. Lets just say that we volleyed back and forth for some time. I had no faith in the youth in terms of busting but he got me a few times. Steve still gave me the low on inventory answer but said what no one else said to me not once. "IF you want I can reach out only when I get one in" ding ding .. Thank you for the quality service by employing qualified people who are not sales people but much more. I purchased a used car at Berman. Their communication and transparency was good even though I was inquiring from another state. The sales person that I dealt with, Ashton Howe, was very friendly and even picked me up from the train station. He worked with me to the best of his ability to make a deal on the car that I purchased. There was some confusion with the pricing on this vehicle because I was sent an email the day I arrived with a slightly lower price. The sales manager said it was a mistake and would not honor that price. They did work with me on a comprise to this issued and I was satisfied with that. I previously has bad experiences with other dealerships in my local area so that is why I traveled a fair distance to Berman. Overall my experience at Berman was very good. More
Service experience this time around was excellent. However, this dealership remains highly suspect and traumatic to me as they knowingly sold me a lemon Rogue in 2021, complete with obvious and repeat However, this dealership remains highly suspect and traumatic to me as they knowingly sold me a lemon Rogue in 2021, complete with obvious and repeated misdiagnosis by the service department until the engine completely failed at 12,000 miles. Instead of proper compensation, I received a lesser vehicle than what I initially wanted (a Rogue SV) at a higher price. While I am indeed pursuing legal action and wider exposure for this incident, and the confessed lowballing for my trade (an offer of over 10K on my rear view mirror but an ultimate trade-in price of 5K), I appreciate that the service department appears to have improved greatly since 2021. More
