They will keep at you until they make a sale so please don't fall for the below scams or going to the dealership tired after work like I did and end up overpaying because they'll take advantage of any situation: 1) They will immediately bring up how much you want to spend for monthly payments because they will do anything to avoid discussing and disclosing the actual cost of the car and what they are charging you for it! Don't fall for the scam and don't discuss monthly payments until you have gotten the price that you want for the vehicle. Once you negotiate the a fair price the monthly payment will already be what you're looking to pay for. 2) Come in prepared with your TrueCar, Edmunds or Kelly Blue Book fair price quote for the vehicle. If I had done that I would've paid $5000-$7000 less than what I paid. 3) Do not allow them to sell you an upgraded version of the car if you don't want it. They will use the excuse that they do not have local inventory for the car you want. For example if you don't want All Wheel Drive then don't pay for All Wheel Drive. They will try and sell you an upgraded more expensive version by telling you they don't have much inventory in the lower-priced vehicle that you want. Walk out and go to another dealer. 4) Do not go in without your own financing. Go to the bank and get a car loan before you walk in Berman. They will run your credit report and of the 3 credit bureaus they will use the lowest score so they can charge you the highest interest possible. 5) Do not purchase the extended warranties! This is pure profit off the bat for the dealer. Whenever the dealership tries that hard to sell you something... run for your life. This is the only scam that I will say I didn't fall for. 6) The arbitration agreement they ask you to sign is a joke! Do you bring your attorney with to a car purchase? No! So I wouldn't sign anything as that is seriously underhanded as most people are not familiar with the law! 7) Be patient! Walk away! Don't sit in the car as they play to your emotions! Be patient! In the end if you're willing to walk away, which you always should be you will get a good deal otherwise they will take you for every cent you have. Shop around! Go to every Infiniti dealer if you have to! Whatever you do don't go tired after work when you can I think it's clearly and bring someone with you. Berman is one of the worst examples of scamming a customer that I have seen of all the car purchases I have ever made. While I love the Infiniti vehicle that I've purchased I was completely scammed and robbed and I just want to make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else at this dealership.
