The receptionist forwarded me I called Berlin City Toyota Scion on Riverside St. in Portland inquiring about an internet lease deal I had read online. The receptionist forwarded me to sales associate Harold Blaney. Harold was very patient and we discussed a couple of lease deals that I was analyzing and we were able to come to a mutual agreement on a Camry. This is the second Camry I've purchased from Berlin City. Great Dealership with great people! More
Poor customer service I drive a Toyota Highlander 2013. I have always had great experiences with Berlin City until this year. My touch screen on my radio stopped working. I drive a Toyota Highlander 2013. I have always had great experiences with Berlin City until this year. My touch screen on my radio stopped working. I made an appt to bring it in, and waited 1/2 hour for them to confirm. They did not have the part on hand, so they said they had to order it and it would take 3-5 days. This was in May of 2015. More than a week went by, and I called and my phone called bounced around their call center repeatedly. 3 weeks later, and a few bounced around phone calls and I reached a female who told me they did't even see my service order. It took a lot of searching to find out that my part had indeed, been ordered, and they forgot to call me. Not a huge deal. She attempted to be accommodating, and I ended up scheduling an appt. The next day, the parts department called me and said I had a part waiting,and if I did not make an appt soon, it would be sent back. I had to call and explain (of course never reaching anything but voicemail) to explain what was happening. I then return to Berlin, wait 1+ hour with my 4 year old son to have the new radio put in. AN HOUR. only for them to tell me that when they opened the box, it was dented and broken and they would need to order a new one. In the process of doing this, they detached my heated seats and scratched my console. Still, I was able to deal.... except THEY NEVER ORDERED A NEW ONE! I never heard back. I repeatedly left messages with the manager, and my husband emailed him directly. It has been beyond frustrating, especially after having been a longstanding customer. I just finally called Prime to see if things go more smoothly, as now I am due for service and also have another issue. I am sad to see Berlin City slide. They were always great, and it takes a lot to make me angry. but the flagrant dismissal is unacceptable. At one point I was told that they were "short staffed". I am a nurse... no one gets that more than me, but I never ignore my patients. I am sad that I won't return, and I am disappointed in their management. We are now in August, 3 months later, and I still have not received the new radio or even a call back from them. More
A Great Day at Berlin City Toyta Scion I wanted a red RAV4 Limited and nothing else. One dealership could not find what I wanted and then I made an appointment with Berlin City. The salesman, Brady Blackman listened, was polite and assured me he could have the exact car I wanted the next day. At 3PM the next day he called to say the car was ready for me. I met the manager, the financial person and the parts manager and they were all smiling, friendly and made me feel that my satisfaction was important to them. While we waited to fill out papers employees kept checking to make sure we had refreshments and again, everyone was cordial and considerate. I don't usually enjoy buying cars, but this experience was super. I also got a high trade in value for my Camry which is 11 years old. I will recommend Berlin City to family and friends. More

After several cordial and professional emails with a salesman, Chris Tarr, my wife and I drove to the Berlin City Toyota (BCT) in Portland, Maine to a After several cordial and professional emails with a salesman, Chris Tarr, my wife and I drove to the Berlin City Toyota (BCT) in Portland, Maine to ask about trading in our Rav4 (which we bought there nine years ago) and getting a newer one. We had a specific car in mind and the salesman (Brady) was exceptionally helpful, as was the business guy (Ryan) who joined us later to see if we could agree on a deal. A tentative agreement was made very quickly, and they were extremely accommodating and didn't hard-sell us at all. We wanted to see an almost identical car (with a lot fewer miles) at another dealership nearby before we said yes, and we told them that. They hoped that we would return to buy from them, but understood and kindly let us go. The second dealer matched Berlin City's price and we bought the car from them. I immediately sent a text to Ryan at Berlin City (I wanted them to know what transpired before they left for the evening), and in just a couple of minutes I got the following text from him: "Can't win em all I guess. No hard feelings. We'll be here if you ever need us. CONGRATS!" I am so very impressed with that! That, my friends, is how to lose a deal and gain a loyal customer. No, we did not buy a car from Berlin City in Portland this time, but next time we need a car, we are going there first! More

Not to mention the machanic looked all of about 12 yrs old ? under the hood of my 40,000. Truck ? NO THANKS ! I'll never use they're service again , nor will I buy from Berlin city again JT More
