Service department is courteous and comfortable! I visited today for a scheduled basic service appointment on a Camry that I also purchased here. It took a few minutes to get checked in, then I was able to relax and wait in their comfy lounge (big screen TV, leather chairs, soda machine). Every member of the service team showed respect and courtesy, and my work was finished on time and at the quoted price - PLUS I got a courtesy car wash (always welcome). I don't live near the dealership, so it's nice to know that when I travel for a service appointment, its worthwhile! I do recommend Berlin. More

Best experience ever under not so favorable conditions I stopped at Berlin City after leaving another dealership quite disappointed. I knew I had some financial issues and almost didn't stop by but figured I stopped at Berlin City after leaving another dealership quite disappointed. I knew I had some financial issues and almost didn't stop by but figured would spend a little time at it. I do believe the staff went above and beyond to get the most favorable financing they could get for me. I was ready to leave at one point due to my own personal financial embarrassment but was encouraged to wait a little longer. It was worth the wait and was pleased with the outcome. I now own a new 2017 Prius Prime Plus. On a personal note, with recent diagnosis of breast cancer last week, it was my goal to get a new car before my surgery and treatment. So thanks to the great team at Berlin City Toyota. More

Overall Positive Experience My wife and I had a very favorable experience purchasing our 2017 Toyota Avalon from the Berlin City of Portland dealership. It was one of three deal My wife and I had a very favorable experience purchasing our 2017 Toyota Avalon from the Berlin City of Portland dealership. It was one of three dealerships (Berlin City of Portland, Prime in Saco and Lee Toyota in Topsham) we visited to test drive cars and get prices. We started searching for cars through USAA's purchasing service. Berlin City of Portland and Prime of Saco are their two certified dealers for our area in Maine. After collecting pricing from the three dealerships, I did some research on pricing for the car we were looking to purchase which was the Avalon XLE Premium because of the safety features and excellent safety rating. Although Prime gave us a slightly lower price, we felt more comfortable dealing with the Berlin City and its sales rep, Melanie Larcombe. Lee Toyota is closer to us, but Berlin City is the next closest and they had indicated they would meet other dealer's prices. After reviewing the discounts and rebates available from Berlin City and Prime, we decided not to use the USAA purchasing service because the dealers were offering us better pricing. I presented a spread sheet summarizing what we wanted to spend for the Avalon to Melanie and after visiting with her manager she came back with a slightly lower price including some extra items we had requested which really impressed us. Berlin City made the purchase of a new vehicle almost enjoyable (not my favorite thing to do) with no hassles. It was a good experience. Melanie and the other staff we interacted with were very helpful, welcoming, personable and professional. We plan on having Berlin City service our new car even though it is about 30 miles from our home. They have been very helpful with the registration of the car in Florida and filled out all the paperwork for us and mailing it to the Florida DOT. The only frustration (for both Melanie and Berlin City as well as us) was the delay (2 weeks from the day we first visited Berlin City) in getting our new car delivered to Berlin City from a Bangor dealer. Fortunately, we weren't in any great hurry to get the car, so it didn't really have a negative impact on us. Now that we have the car it was worth the wait. So overall our impression of Berlin City has been very positive. More

10,000 mile check up I was driving by the dealership and they fit me in on a day that wasn't my appointment. They took great care of me!!!
