I was ready to trade in my 2001 Nissan Altima and was looking specifically for a used Acura RL. A 2005 Acura RL with 100,000 miles caught my eye. I visited Berlin City on a Saturday afternnon to take a look at the car. When I arrived I met with Tim Brown and we looked over the car, but he informed me the car was having a bit of trouble and could not be test driven, but he would get back to me on Mondasy morning when their service dept had a chance to check on the problem (which turned out to be a bad sensor). So, I went back on Monday test drove the car and asked, because of the problem that was seen on Saturday, if I could take the car to my mechanic to have it checked out. This was no problem, as a matter of fact I took it home overnight because of the distance to my mechanic. My mechanic only found one thing wrong; the rear brakes, which according to him would not pass inspection in New Hampshire. I informed Berlin City and they said that although the brakes would pass a Maine inspection they would replace the brakes. The negotiation on price went very quickly as I got what I thought was a fair deal almost at once. More

We had our 4Runner rear door latch replaced in January. It still does not work. We were told when we scheduled the repair that it was under warranty and would be fixed. When I made the appointment I told them it is an intermittent problem, which is very serious because it is not possible to get the spare tire out if the latch does not work. They said they would replace the latch again. We took the 4Runner in today. When we left it at the shop the technician saw that the latch did not work. They did nothing to fix it. They said it worked later that day so they saw no need to fix it. When we got home the latch did not work. The service person we spoke to was very disrespectful to us when we explained the problem. He said it worked at the shop. I told him that I explained when I made the appointment that it was an intermittent problem and it needed to be fixed. The service person admitted they did not even open the panel of the rear door to look at it. We are VERY UNHAPPY about this experience. More
