The experience with the service department was the worst I have ever had. The customer experience was horrible. I arrived at the appointed time and was treated as if I was invisible. The service "advisors" seemed more interested in chatting with their colleagues then dealing with a customer. The time estimate that I had been given to complete the service was 2-3 hours "tops". I ended up waiting over 5 hours! In this period that was no updates. After 4 hours I went back to the service desk and asked if I could have an update. One of the advisors went back into the garage and returned claiming he could not give me an update. He curtly told me the he would find out the status but that never happened. Finally I started wandering the parking lot and found my vehicle. I eventually got a text saying my car was ready. At last I thought that I would be on my way. I went back to the service desk, which had no other customers waiting where I was once again ignored. After standing there for another 10 minutes I got the attention of one of the advisors whom had been pretending that I wasn't there to take my credit card so I could pay. I asked to see the service manager and waited some more but (no surprise) never showed up. Stay away from this dealership!! More
Don't care about customers who comes here with kids even though advertising as kid friendly. 7+ years loyalty worth nothing this place employees even after bringing. My service experience at Berlin Honda was disappointing. This was the same text thread regarding the recommended service. Bottom line: The customer service on back end was completely unacceptable and there was no apology - just a very late text stating how the rep did not see my text because of the system and obtw, your vehicle is ready? Recommend servicing your Honda elsewhere. More
I took my CRV in for an inspection. He told me that that there was damage to the subframe and motor mount and that I needed repairs totaling around $3,000 to pass inspection. In addition, he told me I needed another $1,000 of work including brake pads and rotors. I was very surprised since I had been in only a month before and the multi point inspection showed no issues. I took the vehicle to a mechanic I trust for a second opinion. He put it on a lift and examined the vehicle. He did not find any subframe issues or brake issues, or any of the issues cited on the multi inspection report. He recommended that I file a complaint with the Maine state police. I talked with the service manager. He refused to back down and also let me know he is good friends with Maine state head of inspection and that by reporting the incident I would just get the other mechanic in trouble. I bought the car from them 6 years ago and have been going to them for service. Needless to say, I won’t be back there for service or my next vehicle. More
I have been doing business with Berlin City Honda for 35 years, Today was the last time! It took over 2 hours to service my 2018 Honda Pilot. When I arrived I noted to them that when i Started out today one years, Today was the last time! It took over 2 hours to service my 2018 Honda Pilot. When I arrived I noted to them that when i Started out today one tire was low and needed to be checked. When they returned my car to me they informed me that there was a small nail in one tire and did I want one new tire. I have an AWD car and you are not supposed to change out one tire. Which I explained. Why they didn't know this I don't know. They refused me a sticker for a small nail in one tire. On the way home I stopped and got my sticker elsewhere More
Our Honda HRV was brought in on a tow truck to Berlin City Honda. The vehicle had just had recall work done at another dealership and was not running right ever since. He was always courteous and professional in all our communications and Berlin City corrected the issue with the recall and the car now runs fine. I called to make an appointment for my routine maintenance (oil change/tire rotation) and spoke to Michelle (if I remember correctly). I was very specific that I had a “Car Care Maintenance Plan” maintenance (oil change/tire rotation) and spoke to Michelle (if I remember correctly). I was very specific that I had a “Car Care Maintenance Plan” which is sold as an upgrade on new Honda vehicles. I have had service at several Honda dealerships with no question asked, but Berlin City refused to accept my plan. It clearly states on the booklet itself that it is good at any Honda dealership and at many other facilities-such as Midas. There is a toll free number for verification. All this fell on deaf ears, for Eric told me they would not accept my plan. Thank God that Prime Honda in Saco was able to assist me, for I had driven an hour and a half to get down here....my suggestion is to go to a dealer who has better customer service goals. After having Honda vehicles for decades, I was polite but kind of at a loss over their indifference. Certainly a new experience for me at a Honda dealership.... More
Dillion is so attentive and knowledgeable- true pleasure to have as my dedicated service person. I have been a service customer for over 15yrs. Recently purchased tires and when I ran over something that pu to have as my dedicated service person. I have been a service customer for over 15yrs.
