Not my dealership! My experience with this dealership was not a good one! They failed to make a sale on a brand new Honda CRV by being unwilling to make any negotiations My experience with this dealership was not a good one! They failed to make a sale on a brand new Honda CRV by being unwilling to make any negotiations, they feel the price they have listed is the bottom line. I walked out and bought my car at a pleasant dealership that understands customer service and relationships. My husband later had found a used vehicle at this same dealership, despite my warning and hesitation to even go back there, we went and same song and dance. They lost two sales from us! No wonder there are so many vehicles on their lot, they don't want to sell them! never again, Charlene D More
Terrible Service Department Berlin City Honda is absolutely terrible in terms of having a competent or caring Service Department. We have had our 2011 Honda Accord in for service Berlin City Honda is absolutely terrible in terms of having a competent or caring Service Department. We have had our 2011 Honda Accord in for service a total of four times, and only once was the service acceptable. The first time was for an oil change 3/18/16 using their advertised "Express Service". That oil change took an hour and forty five minutes. Service Advisor Ryan York apologized and said it was an exceptionally busy day. And you know how when you go to a car dealer and you usually get that follow up call or email these days to be sure you were satisfied with the service? Never got one. And their invoice does have my correct phone number and email address printed on it. Second time was the same thing. Scheduled an oil change using the "Express Service" 8/19/16. This time it took TWO hours and ten minutes. And once again the excuse from service advisor Carla Sutter was that they were having a very busy day. I didn't get any follow up call or email asking how that service appointment went either.....so I sent an email to the service manager Nick Sansone using the "contact us" part of their website---- and never got a reply. Third time in was 11/30/16 for a warranty issue where certain Honda V6 engines manufactured 2008-2013 can have excessive oil consumption and foul the plugs. First fix is to replace four of the six plugs, if that does not solve the problem Honda replaces the piston rings under an extended service campaign that was part of a settlement of a class action lawsuit. When we called to explain how the car was acting, the advice was "DON'T DRIVE IT", so we had AAA tow it in. After that warranty repair, service advisor Dylan Keene (very nice guy) said that if symptoms recurred, DO NOT DRIVE IT and that they would transport it in to the dealership. Interestingly enough, no follow up phone call or email to verify satisfaction with that service performed, which was actually very good. On 01/09/17, the car began acting exactly as it had before the last repair, running extremely roughly with check engine light on. So remembering the advice from before of 'DON'T DRIVE IT", we called and had them transport it in. It turned out that the problem as actually not the same as the last time, it was a "Rear VTEC Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Sensor" which was stuck. There is a bumper to bumper extended warranty on this vehicle to 100,000 miles and it has 75,000 miles on it. Bottom line after two days of haggling was that we got stuck with a bill for over $300. Berlin City wouldn't cover towing as they only "arrange" that, they don't pay for it. Then why the heck wasn't I told that the last time? I've had AAA Plus for 25 years! And as far as the warranty covering the repair, nope, only $100 of it. Simply amazing. But the most amazing part is after service advisor Brad Bartke knowing how unhappy we were, do you think we might have heard from the service manager with a follow up? Or just the standard "how was your recent service at our dealership/" call. Nope!!! Not a word from anyone at the dealership in the month that has elapsed since. And my correct phone number and email are once again printed on the newest invoice. In summary, this dealership seems like the poster child for why people avoid new car dealers for service--- and why consumers are advised to find a competent aftermarket repair shop for anything other than factory warranty repairs. I would say the worst part is just a total lack of follow up to determine satisfaction after service performed on any of the four visits. More
A Superior Experience Honestly - I had a bad experience here several years ago when they sold Subarus, and I had NO intention of ever dropping in again; but they had the ex Honestly - I had a bad experience here several years ago when they sold Subarus, and I had NO intention of ever dropping in again; but they had the exact Honda Civic I was looking for. I went in and was greeted by Mr. Zledzieski. He located the exact Civic, and accompanied me on a Test Drive. He followed up a day or so later to see if I needed more information. No push, no pressure. My research continued. A week later, they gave me a very fair Trade-In value for my car, and an excellent price on the new Civic. Simple. Fair. No Pressure. Smiles and a Very Quick Delivery too. Outstanding experience. Thank you! More
Unpleasant and rude salesperson I thought that I was buying a car back in the 80's. The sales person, Scott, did a nice job finding out what I was looking for and was very personable I thought that I was buying a car back in the 80's. The sales person, Scott, did a nice job finding out what I was looking for and was very personable. When it came time to negotiate Scott disappeared without warning and Cliff just appears at thej table. Cliff's job was apparently to be the bad guy. He was argumentative, confrontational and rude. He told me that he was a manager but he was still unable to accept any deal and had to take it to his manager. When it was apparent that we would not be able to agree on price, he just got up and walked away. After several minutes, it became apparent that that was the end. I have never been treated worse buying a car and I have probably bought a dozen cars at various dealerships. Do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to the experience of shopping at Berlin City Honda. More

Don't go here for vehicle state inspection They get you in with free inspection, but you always leave paying close to $500to $900-$19.95 inspection fee which they deduct for you. Huge ripoff. Nothing about this purchase was "Easy" They were happy to sell me a car, but I had to go back to the dealership multiple times to get service. I had trouble immediately after the purchase. They were happy to sell me a car, but I had to go back to the dealership multiple times to get service. I had trouble immediately after the purchase. It took at least a month for the whole problem to get solved and my making multiple trips to the dealership on a weekly basis. I spoke to the service manager and the only thing he did for me was apologize and say he could understand my frustration. He sounded very scripted. They had excuses for everything!! The financing department also forgot to have me sign some important paperwork when I purchased the vehicle. So, had to make another trip in to complete that. And, the sales department sold me a used car with a leaky tire. Worst car buying experience ever!!! More
Happy to sell you a car; horrible on service We bought a car here and it was relatively straightforward. Their service department, however, is horrible to deal with. Long hold times on the phone.
