We talked a little over text and I told him I would follow up after looking over our scheduled to see when we can come in. Today (August 25) I received not only a group text but a group email as well. I could not believe how unprofessional someone could be! I did not give consent to give strangers by contact information and judging from some of the other responses, no one else did either. I submit a review through Google and was contacted by a PR rep who said it was unacceptable (which it was) but to be fair he "was unaware of what he was doing and the consequences of such actions." I'm sorry, you were unaware you were creating a group text message and sending a group email? I cannot fathom how lazy a salesman can be. So no, I cannot recommend Berkeley Ford to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere where your personal information will be kept safe. If my phone number and email address are so freely given out, how can my address, credit, or payment information be trusted to be kept safe? More

I was pushing them to buy, very frustrating I spoke to multiple people over multiple days to just get a price for a vehicle. I told them I was ready to buy and sent them all the information need I spoke to multiple people over multiple days to just get a price for a vehicle. I told them I was ready to buy and sent them all the information needed for my trade. Still I had to constantly push them to just get a price. They gave me all the sales pitches and run arounds. When they finally did give me a price, it was higher than what they originally told me! When I asked why they removed the discount off the internet price they said, "hey everyone wants discounts and there's none to give". Apparently the discounts they offered me wandered out of the building why I was calling repeatedly to just get a price. What a waste of time. More
Poor customer relations from the G/M and service manager They failed to file a rebate for tires purchased and failed to make it good. G/M and S/M was unhelpful. Exceeded our Expectations On our way from Boston to Florida our car was totaled in NC. We rented a car and drove to our daughters' home in Charleston and stayed for 10 days while things got resolved with the insurance company. I saw a a desireable car online at a fair price and called Berkley. Crystal was our rep there and she did a fantastic job helping us get the car and set us up with temporary plates too. Everyone we met there was very helpful. Crystal called a week later to check that we were OK and that he car preformed well on the 8 hour drive. It took a leap of faith to buy a used car from an out of state dealer. Berkley ROCKS More
Kicked to the curb. I purchased a 2014 Explorer about 4 months ago. Since it was late in the evening I was told that someone would give me instructions on Ford Sync and I purchased a 2014 Explorer about 4 months ago. Since it was late in the evening I was told that someone would give me instructions on Ford Sync and an owners manual the next morning. 2 sales people told me it had navigation and all I needed was a SIM card. I found out from Ford that was not the case. Navigation is installed at the factory. So now I have no instructions, no owners manual, and no navigation. I called the sales manager to speak with him about this and he told me that he would talk to the sales people and get back to me. It's been 2 months and I'm still waiting. I will not buy from this dealer again. Apparently once you make the purchase they are done with you. More

He is very knowledgeable on Ford products and appreciates the needs of the customer. Jim Goodyear did an excellent job on finance arrangements and was a pleasure to deal with. All of the staff I met at Berkeley Ford made a good impression on my wife and I. We couldn't have had a better experience on a new car selection. We are now enjoying our new Ford Escape.
