Two years ago I decided to buy my first ever new car. From day two it has been nothing but problems with Berkeley ford and the service department. Been back twice since then for other problems but honestly would rather deal with the problems than deal with their service dept. Five weeks ago I finally called to make an appointment to get stuff repaired and some recalls done. They were booked and my appointment was scheduled for August 2, 2022 at 7:45 am. I dropped it off the day before as I have a full time job. It sat for two days and was never touched at all! What’s the sense in having an appointment?! I confronted the new service manager but he has an I don’t give a crap attitude worse than the last one. Brown smith the service advisor was great. He was honest with me about what was and wasn’t happening but he was the only one who was the least bit honest and who actually cared for his customer. If you read the reviews on google and Facebook for Berkeley Ford they only respond to the five star reviews. What sense does that make!? They should want to try and make all of their customers happy but obviously that’s not how they operate. More
My husband and I have bought 3 vehicles at Berkeley Ford over the last 15 years. Our experience has always been good. This last time was the best. It was a pleasure to look around for a bit before Mr. Hank Williams came over to us and asked if he could help us with anything. He and my husband chatted a bit while I was comparing 1 of 2 trucks. It was pleasant for my husband because he and Hank knew a lot of the same people and this gave me additional time to chose the truck I wanted. If you want a vehicle and an honest opinion of the shape they are in, please go see Hank Williams. He was pleasant and kind, answering all our questions without rushing us! How hard is THAT to find?!! :) That was very much appreciated. Hank is down-to-earth and takes the time his customers need to make their decisions without being pushy. After a test drive, we sat down and discussed our options for the trade-in of our car, as well as what we'd be willing to pay for the new truck. Hank really worked hard for us and I guarantee you, our terms for our trade-in were quite firm. With Hanks help, we got what we wanted - on the trade-in as well as the truck we wanted (I had a concern about something on the truck and it was taken care of as promised). Now on to finance and more negotiations. Ask for Kimmie!!! She's polite and a pleasure to speak with. She worked hard to get us the payment we were looking for (and this included the extended warranty in it) as well as a 45 day breather before our 1st payment was due. Now to maintenance. As I said, I had only one problem with the truck and it was taken care of by the service/maintenance department a week after we bought the truck. No problems and no fuss. We really appreciated all Berkeley Ford did for us. They went above and beyond for us and we will be doing business with them again. More
my car has been in service for over two moths. Didnt get a offer for loaner car or anything. they are very hard to contact you have to pull up there to talk. Very disappointed in the service wish i picked another dealer to service my vehicle More
Buyer beware. I was interested in a Ford Bronco they had available. The MSRP was $38,580 and Berkeley had it listed as $45,580! I simply asked why the $7,000 difference and the intersaleperson (Hank) stat available. The MSRP was $38,580 and Berkeley had it listed as $45,580! I simply asked why the $7,000 difference and the intersaleperson (Hank) stated it was a market adjustment. Basically what this amounts to is the 'additional dealer markup". It's their way of profiteering off potential buyers. Despite Ford Motor Company recently comdemming this practice, Berkeley is compelled to "rip the customer off". Even though it is legal, it is a dishonest practice. My advice is find another Ford dealer that honors the MSRP and begin your negotiations from there. More

I worked with Hunter on a 2006 Ford Mustang. These guys are awesome. They didn't act like a typical car dealer. Every issue I found with my car during my test drive, was either being fixed, or was being do are awesome. They didn't act like a typical car dealer. Every issue I found with my car during my test drive, was either being fixed, or was being double checked so the problem wouldn't come back again. I like to think they treated us like family. I was a minor at that time, but since it was going to be my car, they mostly talked to me. The biggest thing for me is that they offered to drop the car off at my residence once it was fixed, since I lived two hours away. I would 100% come back. More
