Doesn't want to take responsibility I took my daughters car in for routine maintenance. When I picked it up, the airbag light was on. I immediately went back to inform them. They said th I took my daughters car in for routine maintenance. When I picked it up, the airbag light was on. I immediately went back to inform them. They said the mechanic noticed it was on. I was told it typically happens when the seat is moved back and hits something on the floor behind it and cuts through the wires under the front seat. As I thought about it, my daughter and I never move the seat back, however the person who moved my car at the dealership back to the maintenance area must have moved the seat back, and there was an ice scraper on the floor behind the drivers seat. The dealership did a complimentary analysis, and it said that the light was indeed on due to wires under the seat being broken. The clincher? They wanted me to pay $300 to get it fixed! And if I didn't get it fixed, the airbags would more than likely not work in an accident. I offered to pay for the parts, but I felt since they were the ones that moved my seat back, they should accept some of the responsibility by paying for the labor. My offer was refused. I was told it was 100% my fault because I had the ice scraper on the floor behind the drivers seat, and I should have known that they would move the seat back and the ice scraper would break the air bag wires under the drivers seat. I ended up spending the morning pleading my case and continually asking to talk to the owner. In the end, they covered the repair. More

Lack of Communication In 2013 I purchased my car from this dealership and had a really good experience. I dropped off the car on a Friday morning as instructed and receive In 2013 I purchased my car from this dealership and had a really good experience. I dropped off the car on a Friday morning as instructed and received a loaner vehicle while repairs were going to be performed. Due to personal unforeseen circumstances with the mechanic, my vehicle was not dealt with as planned that day, and the dealership did call to let me know that. I was instructed to call back the next morning, and was told that just a few parts needed to be put back on and they would need my car until Monday. I was waiting patiently for a call Monday morning until my errands were done and ended up calling at 12:30 pm. I was informed that one of my brake lines had been damaged while fixing the fuel line and instead of calling me, they had ordered a new brake line on my behalf and would "try to keep as close to my original estimate as possible." It turns out only 2 fuel lines (originally it was thought that 3 lines would need replacing) and the newly damaged brake line needed to be fixed, so my total cost was $5 under the estimate, but the total lack of communication on the part of the dealership ensured I will NEVER return here for repairs or future purchases. The best part is - the one I had been "communicating with" all weekend was the customer service manager. If the initial damage to the brake line had just been reported to me and I had been included in the decision to order a new part things would be different. The ball was dropped, and now not only will Pietroske lose my business, but I will also have to be honest when I tell people how I was treated there. More
