Frame / rust repair I recently had the frame stripped and recoated because of rust issues. (2015 GMC Sierra 1500) Also had a new module installed because my wipers would I recently had the frame stripped and recoated because of rust issues. (2015 GMC Sierra 1500) Also had a new module installed because my wipers would only work in high speed. It took one full week to get the work done and I had a nice new loner to use while the service was being performed. Overall it was a very good experience with Pietroske GM. They seemed to have done a good job on the repair, although time will be the judge. The sad part is that this work needed to be performed in the first place. The "wax" coating that's applied to the frame at the factory is nearly worthless. For what these new trucks cost, (and the mark ups involved) they should have a properly applied "E-coated" frame and suspension components that would prevent rust for a very long time. This is particularly important on pickup trucks because so much of the frame is exposed to the eye that it is almost "part of the visual impact of the truck", and when it's all brown and rusty it shows very poorly for Chevy/GMC.....and their owners! Overall, Pietroske GM did a very good job of rectifying the issues! More
