Unexceptable Customer Service I owned a Buick Rainer for 2 years, and whenever I needed to get work done on it I took it to Bergey's Chevrolet as it is the closest dealer to me tha I owned a Buick Rainer for 2 years, and whenever I needed to get work done on it I took it to Bergey's Chevrolet as it is the closest dealer to me that works on GM cars. Looking back, I realize this was a mistake. Whether it be an oil change or something more serious, I would always have to take it back again, or twice, to really get the problem fixed. I now realize that the mechanics there were simply unqualified to work on my car. This alone warrants a rating of one or two stars. What makes this a solid one or zero star, is the treatment by the administrative and managerial staff. Not only did they treat me like a child that did not deserve their time everytime I went into the storefront, but the kicker came recently when I tried to purchase a new car from them. I called their store to speak for a bit with the sales clerk before going in to finish up the paperwork, when I asked about negotiating the price a little lower. The response I received from the sales clerk, Ryan Dissler, was "sir the price on this car is already very good, there's not need to be greedy with us." As I understand it, negotiating a price is standard procedure and is not being greedy. I see this comment made by this clerk as extremely rude, and was furious that Bergey's would allow a clerk to talk to a serious customer in this way. Further in this conversation, when I was debating out loud to ask to speak to the manager, which also is a fairly common request in car sales, Ryan told me "I don't appreciate you trying to go around my back and talk with my manager, this is the lowest price we can do." Between all the experiences I've had with this car dealership, and it's workshop, I would strongly discourage any interaction with this establishment. It will save you both time, money, and probably some brain cells too. More
