I had a miserable experience with Bergeron Jeep. My 2016 jeep Cherokee has been in the service department on three occasions for the last four weeks - for the same issue. The first time the issue was not resolved; I had to reschedule the appointment - earliest available was 10 days later. Also was charged for service then informed that repairs were covered under warranty. Returned to address original issue and also Check Engine Light warning. Picked up the following day, original issue unresolved and Check Engine Light is back on. So Jeep is back (third time the charm?) Salespeople are nice enough. Meanwhile sales department cal, email, and text about trading in for a 2021. I will purchase a 2021 soon... but it won't be from Bergeron and it won't be a Jeep. More
Bergeron had my truck for over 2 months due to parts being delayed because of the pandemic. Returned my truck filthy and customer service lacking. I had to call to find out information. Just what I expected from Bergeron Jeep, reliability. Got there fairly early(7:45) and was out by 9:15 a.m. Express Lane is the way to go if you have several small items to maintain. I'd like to give zero stars.Earlier this month, I I'd like to give zero stars. Earlier this month, I reluctantly took my car to Bergeron because I rationalized that the dealership would know best I'd like to give zero stars. Earlier this month, I reluctantly took my car to Bergeron because I rationalized that the dealership would know best how to find and fix the problem I was having. I had been avoiding this place like the plague due to their lack of competence and overall horrible service. Initially, I brought my car in on a Tuesday, late in the afternoon, just to check the availability in the upcoming days. I spoke to Chris who told me I could come back Thursday. Like a fool, I showed up at 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning and Chris told me that he would have the car looked at and most likely it would be fixed that same day. Surprising since it normally takes weeks to even get an appointment and then several more days to get to and fix the car. I figured their bad business practices had run all the customers off. Well, I walked home and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Shortly after noon, and after no phone calls from Chris with an update, I called and spoke to Louis (Luis) (idk) and he said that Chris had gone home for the day and they hadn't gotten a change to look at my car yet. Uhhh. So I told him what Chris told me and then asked him when was someone going to call me. He put me on hold, came back and this is where the lies began. He said that they were still looking into the problem and he would get back to me in a little bit and let me know something. He repeated this sentence three times back to back unprovoked. I guess he thought that if he said it enough times it would be more convincing. I waited several more hours and then began calling again at around 4:45. How were they going to fix my car the same day if they hadn't even gotten an authorization from me to get started? No one answered after several calls, so I walked back to the location. I found Louis and he said my car was UNDRIVEABLE! He said there were several issues, blah, blah, blah. I said ok well that's fine but what about a loaner car. He said that wasn't possible due to Hurricane Delta. I said well, no one told me I would be without a car and I want the option to evacuate. Well the conversation didn't go well and I asked for his supervisor. After going back and forth with Chris, who told lie after lie, David, the supervisor, asked me if I wanted my car. I said yes! I thought I would be waiting for at least an hour since it was UNDRIVEABLE. It wasn't undriveable when I brought it in so I imagined the engine had been pulled, and a pile of parts on the floor. Well.....within five minutes, David brought my car to me and apologized, stating that Chris should have called me earlier in the day and told me they hadn't gotten to it. Uh...yeah! They hadn't even looked at my car. Hadn't test driven it. Hadn't done anything. But tried to deprive me of my car for which would have been Thursday (the day I brought it in), Friday (they were posting signs saying they would be closed Friday due to Hurricane Delta), Saturday (they only work half a day), Sunday (they are closed), and at least part of Monday if not longer. Now if that's how long it takes to fix, that's one thing, but to not even communicate this to me and just be too pathetic to admit that they didn't do anything after having it all day is something else. At one point David even suggested that Louis call Enterprise to see if they had a car I could rent. I immediately informed them that if anyone would be renting a car for me, it would be them! I've learned my lesson. I may have said this before, and I meant it. But I really, really mean it this time. I will NEVER return to this place. Once I left, I started thinking that I needed to find a real mechanic. One that is hands on. One that will get up under the hood and find the problem. So, I went home, searched on Yelp and found exactly that. I took my car there Friday and they got up under the hood and found out what the problem was, ordered the parts, all within 30 minutes. I will be taking it back next week to have the work done. They also found the reason behind another issue that Dodge could not find in the past but said could be something major. Turned out to be something very minor that will be fixed for free. Again..Never again! More
