Service on my 2017 Cruz Hatchback I came in because the key fobs have failed to open locked doors twice. The remote control door lock receiver was replaced to fix the problem. Dissapointed Not too long after purchasing my vehicle from Berger, approximately 2 months, and the extended warranty I ran into some elrctrical issues. Nothing in Not too long after purchasing my vehicle from Berger, approximately 2 months, and the extended warranty I ran into some elrctrical issues. Nothing in my steering column would work properly including the windshield whippers remaining on and at max speed even when the switch was in the off position, and blinkers and lights not responding to the appropriate commands. The way it is worded in the warranty contract makes it appear that all of thise things were covered. After paying my warranty deductible of $100 and one day in the service center I thought my vehicle had been fixed and the repairs covered under my warranty. A year and a half later the same issue came back. When I took my car back to the service center they then told me the issue was never covered under my warranty and the last mechanic working on my vehicle reset the electrical systems by unplugging my battery. They wanted me to pay for that a second time!!!! $100 for someone to unplug my battery and for me to eventually have to replace a $1400 module that I was never told about the first time the repair was "fixed". There repairmen are deceitful and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. More
