She quickly grabbed the keys to the Equinox we were looking over. She was very knowledgeable on the improvements from the 2011 Equinox that we wanted to trade. She also demonstrated the new features with enthusiasm. It is always great to work with a sales person that you can tell is a car lover. Berger has a long history with Camaros so we talked about the Camaro and Corvette that were inside the dealership, while finance was working the numbers. We were given the opportunity for a test drive while they inspected our trade in. The entire process was handled with efficiency by the entire staff. They even put up with my husband's odd sense of humour. More
We were upfront with the fact that we wanted to physically see two used vehicles. We were sat down and talked to at length about why we should buy a new vehicle, and not only that, but do it today! physically see two used vehicles. We repeatedly reminded the sales representative of the purpose of our visit and two quotes stick out in my mind for why she REFUSED TO SHOW US A VEHICLE: "the managers are only concerned about money" and "[the managers] would kill me if I was showing people vehicles that weren't serious buyers". I guarantee that we will be purchasing one of the vehicles that we came to look at, after having been shown the vehicles at a dealership just down the street. Our time was wasted and our patience tested by a unprofessional sales representative. Customer service was a distant second to her and/or the dealership only wanting to make money today. They would have had a great chance to make money off of us as well had they shown us the vehicles and not wasted our time. More

That is what I call knowing your customer. We quickly came to an agreement and completed the transaction. Brian is extremely patient and professional and thoroughly knows the product. Brian Isch is wonderful! From the time I walked up to just view the 2014 Chevy Malibu til the time I left the dealership he worked very diligently to help see if I can get approved for this vehicle. He worked with JS in berger's finance dept. and I gave him everything he needed and even though I didn't think I could get the car due to a few flaws in my credit,he worked it all out. Long story short I am driving my 2014 Chevy Malibu now and loving it. He even showed me how to work everything in the car and it is equipped with OnStar which I love! I had some work done at Berger Chevrolet on my 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt in October replacing a body control module and radio under my General Motors Major Guard warranty with Joe Christopher being my serv Chevrolet Cobalt in October replacing a body control module and radio under my General Motors Major Guard warranty with Joe Christopher being my service advisor. I also had a quote on body work done and had the glass window replace on the driver's side door help by Randy Smith. Joe and Randy were very professional and understanding about the situation and were very efficient with follow ups (meeting deadlines), cost effective, both had excellent communications skill by keeping me informed. They went the extra mile with all aspects of the repair and even had my vehicle detailed inside and out. Thank you for going above and beyond to help me out given the situation. A++ 5 out of 5 Stars for going the extra mile. More
Well this is my second new car since 09. Not happy at all with Berger will never buy again from them. My impala 09 38 sets rotors, tie rods ends replace at 10000 miles and alot more. I gave them another chance back in april 2013 purchase a 2013 chevy malibu well just my luck under 5000 miles had it in gas gauge wasnt working so they replace gas tank and fuel pump. Now at 15000 miles i have a strut bearing bad but of course once again berger not standing behind there car always wanting me to take it to another dealer. When i was promised from John Knaggs they would do whatever necessary to make me happy. Well just in 2 weeks ago i called him on my way down he said he would call back and never did. Even though they say its a safety concern they still had me drive my car home to reed city and I called GM to open a technical file on it and of course once again wanted me to drive it back to grand rapids when my steering wants to lock up just enough to pull the car to the right. Seriously NOT!!! Once again the dealer by me is trying to figure the problem out. We have purchase several vehicles from berger and they never stood behind the new ones. Beth my salesperson is wonderful and very professional but the rest of them including the general manage John really needs to live up to what they promise. To me when you buy from a dealer that dealer should stand behind there cars. Just saying. More
