We have done business off and on with Berge for 20 yrs. We soon learned not to take our VW to them for service because we were always shocked at the bill. The last car we bought there in January 2019 was listed on their web site at $19,999 but when we got to the dealership, the sales rep said he could get us into the vehicle for $26,000.00. When I called them on it, they immediately dropped the price. Now I have made two attempts to call them but can't get a call back or even connected to someone. More
I previously wrote a review of the issues I had at Berge Volkswagen service department. I only gave them 1 star because of those issues. Since then, Vince contacted me and apologized (multiple times during Volkswagen service department. I only gave them 1 star because of those issues. Since then, Vince contacted me and apologized (multiple times during our conversation) and said he wasn't calling to make excuses (which he did not), but to see if we could agree on a resolution. We did do that and he did follow through on what he promised, promptly I will add. I am revising my review to a 4 star because of the integrity of their desire to make resolution of the issues I experienced. More

My fiancé went in today to see what they could to to get him out of the car he was in due to being overcharged and finding something better priced and better overall. The General sales manager, Earl, was the WORST and most horrible person. Using vulgar language towards my fiancé. Calling him a “worthless piece of xxxx” and saying “xxxx your family.” I would definitely not recommend this place ever. The most unprofessional dealership to date. More
We have been going to Berge Madza since 2015 when we got our first Mazda3. We showed up at the dealership at 7:22 pm.... they close at 8:00. Our first deal at Berge was a big deal for my girlfriend and to c our first Mazda3. We showed up at the dealership at 7:22 pm.... they close at 8:00. Our first deal at Berge was a big deal for my girlfriend and to calm her nerves I told the sales person at close that we were not going to close on the car without a Diet Coke. The sales person back in 2015 was "Are you serious?" and we replied, "yeah, you either get a a diet coke or we walk." We weren't serious, but the sales person had a diet coke he got from the nearby gas station ready at close. This was seriously the best experience we have had with a dealership. We have returned every two years to trade in our Mazda for a newer one. Each year, we remind the sales staff about the diet coke and they have not missed. Our recent trip was to Berge Volkswagen and we decided that we wanted something nicer. We showed up at 7:20 pm... 2 minutes earlier than normal. We were greeted by Jeff Wussler and of all the great car reps we have had, Jeff killed them all. He was instantly responsive to our needs and never made us feel bad for being there late. We were the only ones there. He energized the remaining sales staff and finance manager and got the Berge team humming. We never saw anything but smiles from everyone. We wound up buying an Atlas Cross-sport with the upgraded tech package with some Italian leather trim. The financing terms were EXACTLY what we expected and they threw in a wheel dipping to match our trim. We walked out with our new ride at 8:40 pm... 40 minutes past the dealership close. ...and true to our tradition, Jeff provided a diet coke at close. We are life long Berge buyers cause honestly... the $1.50 diet coke makes ALL the difference. Thank you Jeff, Thank you Berge! Bianca and Christoph More

While I was visiting the Phoenix area recently I developed a problem with the automatic trunk latch on my Tiguan. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday and I needed to drive back to Tucson for developed a problem with the automatic trunk latch on my Tiguan. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday and I needed to drive back to Tucson for an event that night. I contacted another dealer near my location, but they said they were closing and couldn't help me. I contacted Berge and although they too were getting ready to close they said if I could come over right away they would see what they could do. I arrived 15 minutes later and they immediately began to diagnose the problem. As it turned out the motor which drives the automatic trunk latch had malfunctioned and needed to be re-set. Although ADAM MUNOZ the Shop Foreman was getting ready to leave he spent the next 30 minutes re-programing the settings. If it were not for the generosity of both Adam and VINCE MEDINA his Service Manager we would have been stuck in the Phoenix area overnight and unable to get back to Tucson. They both decided it was more important to help me at a time of need rather than clock out and go home! In this day and age, where good service is at a premium, both Adam and Vince exemplify what good customer service is really all about! I could not thank them enough and will be forever grateful for taking it upon themselves to help me. They are both outstanding individuals and should be recognized as such by the Berge organization!
