Car Call was dropped off on Tuesday for a recall was told it would be ready on Wednesday. Then on Wednesday we were told that you did not have the part for the recall it would be ready on i’m Friday. I have been dealing with Benzel Busch for over 20 years. Lou Gallo has been an excellent salesperson. He always trys to do the right thing for me . First event, 10/10/22. My mom brings her used 2012 Mercedes C300 that she just purchased to the dealer. The headlights needed to be looked at. There was an error code fo My mom brings her used 2012 Mercedes C300 that she just purchased to the dealer. The headlights needed to be looked at. There was an error code for the right headlight and all the headlight bulbs are loose. The car has aftermarket LED bulbs which work great but needed to be clipped and locked into place. After about half an hour the car comes back and they tell my mom everything is good. Later that evening, I checked to make sure they did the job properly because 30 mins sounded too quick. I look and they didn’t even remove the dust covers to check the light bulbs. Everything is still loose and nothing has been locked into position. The only thing holding the light bulbs in place is the fact it is squeezed against the dust cover. However, this is not a good thing. If the light bulbs move then my mom won’t be able to see while driving at night. Secondly the light bulbs get hot, if they are against the dust cover they could start a fire or cause even more damage. My mom returns with the car the next day 10/11/2022. Asks to speak with the service manager. Now she didn’t get a name but she said the person she spoke to was the service manager. She said he was wearing a suit and behind a desk. My mom explained the situation and told him the headlight bulbs needed to be clipped and locked into position. The service manager responds, “you can drive the car till the next available appointment.” For terrible service, for not listening to the customer understanding the problem and fixing the problem the first and second time, and finally for putting my mothers life in potentially life threatening danger. This dealership receives one star. Shame on you guys. More
I was given a loaner car. My car was not seen on the day it was brought in (9:30 AM). I was never contacted to tell me that the car would not be ready on this day. When I called at 4:45 PM to check on my vehicle, I was told everybody was gone for the day. I called at 10AM the next day and was told that they were swamped and it was a 50% chance of being serviced that day. I was contacted at 2:30 and told the car was ready and I had to pick up the car by 3:30. More
