Not my Mercedes dealer, that's for sure I went to check out the new E Class. I let the saleswoman Liz Kalaj know I'm looking at a few other cars and I'm not ready to buy right now. We take it for test drive which was way too short. They seem to have an issue here with taking them other then local streets. Very difficult to get any kind of feel for car doing that. If I had a great product to sell like they do I'd want the perspective customer to drive it for 15-20 minutes on varying roads so the product would sell itself. This was not the first time I've been here and I had same the same experience the other times. Clearly they are being told to do this. News alert-I'm buying a car, I want to test drive it. I can and will go elsewhere. Taking it around the block is not a test drive. We get back to the dealer and the saleswoman Elizabeth gives me some numbers which seemed ok. I get three emails from her after that. One thanking me for coming in and two others inquiring if I'm ready to move forward over the course of a week or so. I explain that I'm not prepared to do anything yet but I'll let her know when I'm ready. Luck had it that a friend of mine just got the same car I was interested in so he let me drive it for 20 minutes or so. Ok, I'm ready to start talking numbers and sign a lease if they are fair. I left 3 messages over 6 days and sent an email. No response. What happened, she just wouldn't call back so I just stopped trying. I get a call from the GM because of a write up on Yelp. She lies to him and said she called me back three times. I was willing to show him my phone log from my Mobile phone account to prove that was a lie. Here's my thing, I don't like liars and I definitely don't business this way. I wound up singing a lease with someone else. If a salesperson won't respond then I can't and won't buy a vehicle at that dealer. And here's the thing their prices are usually juiced up pretty high especially if you're a return client. This was not the first time we felt unwelcomed by this dealer and I know we are not alone in our assessment. You BETTER check your pricing with other dealers before doing anything here and the service department in particular of heard stories that we're not flattering to say the least. I have not had my cars ever serviced here, it's just word of mouth. Funny thing is after all this they really offer no reason to buy or service their at all. It's not like I was offered some big discount since we are in process of buying two more Mercs. They offered nothing other then an apology and wanted to know what happened. That does nothing for me and I don't work for free so if you want me to straighten out your business sign a consulting contract or you better offer a real good deal on a vehicle. My wife was right about this place 5 years ago. I tried to give it a second chance but they really don't care. More
