Bad Brakes I did not give the dealership a bad score in any of the survey’s. I have always enjoyed my interactions with all of your employees. But I wanted to share with you my disappointment with my new Genesis. I closed the deal on Friday night and picked up the car Saturday morning. It was immediately clear shortly after leaving the dealership that the front brakes on the car were not right. There was a vibration you could feel in the steering wheel and even in the front passenger seat. This was so obvious that I can only conclude that no one checked the car out before it was handed over to me. I have bought one used Sonata, two new Sonatas and one new Veloster. None of these had any delivery issues. I brought the car into the dealership today to check out the problem and it was concluded their were “flat spots” on the front pads. The parts had to be ordered so it will be at least another day before I can enjoy my new car. I understand that there can be issues with new cars but this was so obvious I wonder how it was missed. I was very excited about moving “up-scale” with this car but now there will always be a seed of doubt in my mind. I also want to add that I did not force the issue about a Saturday delivery of the car. I just assumed it would be the first of the week. There was no pressure from me to have the car on Saturday.
